keep rambo rambo has done nuthin to anyone. edit: Today i learned florida has a pet license http://myfwc.com/license/wildlife/alligator-permits/#import
To possess lawfully acquired American alligators for personal use, you must have a Class II Personal Pet License. Applicants must be 18 years old, not convicted of certain wildlife related violations and demonstrate 1 year and 1,000 hours of substantial practical experience in the handling, husbandry and care of alligators or other crocodilian species. Activities must be documented and caging requirements apply.
Gators are actually surprisingly smart and IIRC capable of remembering people around them.
Well If Crockett could have a Gator called Elvis on his house boat.
That picture of the gator on that quad has me in tears.
Guess you could say its a bit of a.. alitigater
Please don't.
Guess you could say its a bit of a.. alitigater
Six posts in and I'm already in love. Stick around, please.
So you can keep a 20 foot python eating death machine but not a 6 foot alligator. k.
So you can keep a 20 foot python eating death machine but not a 6 foot alligator. k.
Well. Yeah. The snake ate you but the alligator didn't and because of this you can report the alligator.
They can't exactly integrate it into the wild or a nature reserve, but I can understand why they initially got involved - some people don't realise that they might be doing more harm than good. That gator should be on the state flag though.
As a native to Florida, I feel for this woman. Gators are awesome.
I wonder if it's a Gamergator.
He could he a belatedgator.
Polk county. This doesn't surprise me that they'd try to take the gator away. Mid to north Florida counties always get a hair across their asses for perfectly legal things.
Most states and municipalities require licenses for owning exotic and/or dangerous pets and animals.
in my home state (and many others) there's no laws against or regulating having pet bears lmao, only thing stopping me is the idea of a bear in my home
i thought everyone in florida had a pet alligator
#gatorgate
They drew first blood.
I wonder if it's a Gamergator.
I'd say it's a Watergator, but then again that's the wrong state.
The lady lost her son and this pet/companion is helping her cope and want to take him away? As someone who has anxiety and other issues I have faced the past year this hits close to home because my kitten helps me cope a lot as does I know a lot of people with their pets do. Look at what a big sweet baby that Rambo is too
I'd say it's a Watergator, but then again that's the wrong state.
Could be a Wally Gator.
I knew it was Florida... It couldn't be any other place.
Look at what a big sweet baby that Rambo is too
I'm not exactly qualified but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the only reason why he hasn't attacked her or anything is because she probably overfeeds him, alligators only are active when they're hungry
I knew it was Florida... It couldn't be any other place.
i dunno, i live on the opposite side of the country from her and i have neighbors that have a couple gators as pets. they also have wolves and a lion as pets so they may not be the most normal of people
