I want anyone caught texting and driving to have their license taken away and forced to go back to driving school as punishment. Even if its a waste of their time and money, they deserve it for endangering so many lives.
Holy shit

What a dumb-ass.
I don't believe he'd be swerving that much just from texting, I wouldn't be surprised if he was on something...
I would prefer to have their license and cell phone removed.
Just as long as they are removed from the road for a long time. Not permanently, people can learn a lesson.
He's probably sexting.
Is using a phone while driving illegal in the US?
Just as long as they are removed from the road for a long time. Not permanently, people can learn a lesson.
I never said permanently. Though after putting several people's lives in danger just so you can text to somebody, I think the punishment should be more severe.
Is using a phone while driving illegal in the US?
And Canada. Also, couldn't you say the same about the guy filming though? Although he was driving a LOT better then the guy who was texting.
Wow... He's really bad at texting and driving. He had to have been on something.
I don't think he was texting. Probably intoxicated. ...or a combination of both.
I know many of you disagree with me. I text and drive but I have never been that bad. I never swerve that bad. That guy is overreacting just a little too much to be saying stuff like that. Don't freak out, only makes things worse.

It's more about wether you kill people while being a retard or NOT killing people while being a retard.
Maybe he was masturbaiting.
God damn, if you really have to text while driving, at least do it when you're waiting at a traffic light
Can't be texting, it effects your driving but not THAT much, probably really drunk or on drugs.
dude clearly isnt a pro texter
The video description just says he was texting. It can effect your driving more than being well over the alcohol limit so it doesn't surprise me he was driving like that just from texting.
Why did he freak out?
...Because several people could have gotten killed?
http://www.cnbc.com/id/31545004/Texting_And_Driving_Worse_Than_Drinking_and_Driving
There are dozens of articles on this study. If you can swerve slightly less? Congrats for you. You're still a fucktard for gambling with other people's lives. I've lost family so don't say "it's not that bad".

They were in different cars. I think the guy who was videotaping was pretty fucking calm considering he was seeing this guy put his and everyone else's life in danger. [editline]30th May 2011[/editline] And I thought I was pushing it with walking down the stairs and texting.

What i find funny is that the guy is HOLDING A CAMERA while driving, fucking hypocrite.
Well, I think it's different than texting. You can hold something and still drive perfectly fine. Yeah, it's something that could potentially divert his attention, but at least he's not checking the screen every five seconds to send his friend a message. As you can see, he drives pretty well for holding a camera.
This is drunk driving, not texting. And good job filming while driving, that's an amazingly responsible thing to do behind the wheel. If you're gonna be a crack civilian investigator, how about actually filming what you're accusing the driver of...him texting.
what the fuck? how can you not realise you should stop doing whatever the fuck you're doing if you're swerving that badly...
What i find funny is that the guy is HOLDING A CAMERA while driving, fucking hypocrite.
He's well behind the swerving dumbfuck in front of him and can stay in his lane quite easily. Besides, a camera is pointed towards what your eye sees, so no harm done. Worst comes to worst he has one hand on the wheel, who hasn't done that before? e: Wow camera guy is a good driver. While not looking at the road he still manages to perfectly pull on to the shoulder. :v:
