From what I've heard, the show will go on even without him. So they'll likely find another person who can do at least a similar voice. Also several friends/fellow co-workers have come out verify Skyler's incredibly inappropriate and even violent behavior towards other co-workers so that largely hints he's done this more then once.

So there's the whole creator vs. creation argument dealt with.

If he doesn't own the rights, I could see CN getting someone like Dan Mintz to do the voice. Let's face it: Skyler Page's voice isn't that great anyways, and it's probably not even a hard voice to do.

More often than not, companies like CN, Nickelodeon and Disney make the content creators sign over the rights to their ideas. Alternatively, if the idea is conceived when the creator is already employed by the company, more often than not the company already owns the IP just because of the fact that the idea was created by one of their employees. It's why John Carmack is in trouble with id Software over the Oculus Rift now, the idea is that because he signed an NDA and partially developed some code for the Rift while at id, then left and allegedly took the code with him, he stole "id's code". It's a load of bullshit really

it's a shame in the fact that Clarence is a great show. Absolutely fabulous that they're booting off Page, though, and since all the writers and contributors are still on, nothing much should change aside from Clarence's voice.

It depends - going public on twitter about it, before anything happened probably was not a good thing. But there's a big chance that the case was already going on for a while and police may have been involved as well.

S it's very likely that CN reacted to something that was ongoing and potentially partially proven. As opposed to just doing it due to an allegation.
