Today is a fine day for science—or for the science-loving nostalgics in all of us. While most people tuned into Game of Thrones and the Mad Men series finale Sunday night, some started to discover that Bill Nye the Science Guy, the beloved ’90s educational program from our favorite bow-tied scientist Bill Nye, had arrived on Netflix. Only 31 of the original 100 episodes made it to the streaming service so far, but that’s not stopping people from getting settled in front of the TV or computer screen to binge-watch an episode or 30. I thought it was decided it was going to be a planet now.
a group of nobody assholes voted for it to be a planet again because their feelings were hurt, and the actual scientific community didn't care [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] i remember my classmates deciding they were ~too cool~ for bill nye they secretly loved it fuck those brats
Pluto isn't a planet because it's just a big chunk of ice basically.

Now all I need is a CRT tv on a rolling cart. Good nostalgia.
Now all I need is a CRT tv on a rolling cart. Good nostalgia.
And all of them on VHS tapes. Its not quite the same with the terribad NTSC color bleed and slight noise on the edges.
Awesome, never really watched the show as a kid but I remember seeing bits and pieces, always thought it was cool. I watched Beakman's World as a kid, that shit is almost creepy in retrospect with the giant rat character and the super bitchy girl character, I've just always thought of Bill Nye as the classy science show.

I only ever watched Bill Nye in class. It's time to rectify that.
Pluto isn't a planet because it's just a big chunk of ice basically.
No that's not the reason. Jupiters just a big cloud of gas, that doesn't make it any less of a planet.
