'Self-destruction' would be enough for SK to stop existing. I believe that NK, in a minute, developing it without restrictions, made their bombs a 'dirty bombs', meaning the explosion will irradiate a lot of surface for like a lot of decades or even centuries.

They've just been taking hits from North Korea this whole year and the government has done nothing about it, they're pissed that they could be killed and nothing would be done about it.
I'm not surprised. Normally, when attacked, the victims would retaliate, but this makes the south seem weak.

Don't blame them that much. They are in hard position. Direct conflict with NK leads to the utter destruction of both of them, so what's the point of defending just 50 or even 100 of citisens?

I am afraid that all the government can do sadly is stick to the original plan, hold back on escalting the conflict and see what North Korea does next and see what they will do. If they go much further then let them move first, that way if they try any more posturing they will lose support from China. Everyone wants the situation resolved but with different aims.
South Korea: North Korea to calm down and go into talks.
North Korea: To get the USA into direct talks about Nuclear reactors via posuring.
China: Insure that North Korea doesn't go too far and to keep US presence on the penisula
USA: To get North Korea to returrn to talk and shut down her Nuclear armaments.

That is a very bad generalization. That would be like sayig if you shoot me I shoot you. In this situation it will only escalte the situation and it would play directly into North Korea's hands. They could play the victim and then what they then call out to the world about the evil USA and then the USA loses face. It's end's up with South Korea having to back down and North Korea getting a moral statue.
No the way to deal with them is to see what they do next and drive a wedge between China and Notrth Korea. Let them try to push further, if they do anymore damage then they will find that their ally will start to pull back and maybe even push them to calm down. That is the way to deal with North Korea. North Korea is in a bad state at the moment and without aid she could easily lose more of her people and worse the country might even shut down. Too many dead workers lessens your manpower.
