The Crash Thread: Fender Benders, Head-on Collisions, and other car related accidents

Owning a car has many benefits and can bring great joy to one's life. However, that joy can sometimes fly off the edge of the on-ramp or make love with Mrs. Henderson's tree. This is the thread for those moments and to get things going I will post the first (and I hope last) time I smashed my car a few years back.

Note: This is an old ass post from another forum I visit from time to time.

DUI doing 75+kph in a 60 zone, struck my brothers parked car. She also than ran from the scene. Did 15,000$ Damage and they STILL fixed it!

Been driving a couple months, I was driving past some guy pulling out of his parking spot. I stopped and waited for him because he was backing up, I wait and he stops backing out. Nobody is around so I'm like "Alright, he's letting me go"

Start driving, he starts going then stops and I stop. Then I start going and I'm behind him when he suddenly backs into me before I can even honk my horn.

Fortunately, it's a tiny-ass dent that's barely noticeable on my POS.

Well I almost got a bit too cut off by a guy in a roundabout and I've shown a gif of it some time ago but I can't find it :smith:

I rolled it going 60mph down a shity road into a ditch and took out some polls.

I got into 2 parking lot accidents but I was once walking in some random street with my friend and this dude had a wrecked mazda 626. He shouted at us from the other side of the street and said "MY CAR IS FUCKED AND INSURANCE SAYS IT'S A TOTAL LOSS. WANNA HAVE FUN" and so we began beating the shit out of a Mazda 626

I got rear-ended today. With the way it sounded and felt, I thought my rear bumper would be toast. Barely any damage to my car though. Older guy driving a F150, his bumper was a little bent in but not too bad. Hoping I can get a little money from this.

Well, I got my driver's license around november, so I haven't been in a crash on highway so far. But I did crash my passed grand father's badly rusted Corolla into a tree while making a low turn in 20 km/h. It was not in good enough condition for driving on a road, luckily.

It was winter back then. When I started turning, I let go of the gas. This made rear to lose grip and I kept going into a tree next to our driveway. Luckily only left rear door was damaged in that accident, but my car was stuck in a snow bank.
So, I go to my dad and tell what happened, after he had pulled it out with a tractor I collect all the glass on the snow. Then he took a wrecking bar and straightened the door with it.

Now it has a piece of card board box and plastic bag as makeshift window. It has remained as my only crash so far. I can't even imagine what my parents would have thought if it had been our car I was driving. :ohdear:

tl;dr: I crashed a banger into a tree and then my dad fixed it's door.
