• The Story of a Miracle That Happened to Me.

I just want to post a story of which happened to me when I was a kid that some people around me at that time called a miracle. I'm not too sure myself, but it is an interesting story none the less. I personally don't remember most of it, but I can remember being very sick once, and what I'm posting now is what I remember of my parents and some of their friends telling me about it a while back. When I was a small kid, around 3 or 4 years old I had gotten kinda sick, my dad being a doctor checked me out and concluded that I had some kind of flu. So he gives me a shot or pill or something I can't remember, that cooled me down a bit. But then after a day it starts getting a lot worse, around 38C. At this point my dad couldn't figure out the cause of the rapid rise in temperature, so of course my parents rushed me to a hospital. At the hospital I get test after test after test and no one there could come up with what was wrong with me, my temperature was just rising and rising. So my dad gave up on the hospital, and took me to someone he knew could figure out how to save me. I was taken to a clinic owned by the doctor that my dad worked under for some many years. Now, I started getting to a point where my temperature became dangerously close to fatal. Although the doctor also couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, he did come up with a way to slow down the rise in temperature. It was something like he would inject me with something in a major artery and that would bring me down to almost normal temperatures for a couple of hours(4 or 5 I think). The thing is though, after every shot given to an artery, a new one would have to be found for the next shot, it wouldn't work giving the shot in the same artery over n over. So for about a day my dad and the other doctor are trying to figure out what is wrong with me, as they buy time by injecting me with the medicine and my mom sits crying on a chair next to me thinking about what happens when they run out of fresh arteries. A while later and my mom tells my dad to offer to get me something that could make me happy, like toys or something, so my dad asks me what do you want, do you need anything? Me being a youngster asks for some spider man shit or something, I can't remember, my dad immediately takes off to the small store across the street where they sell little toys and manages to find something like the one I want, and bought me a ton of them to play with. When he gets back and hands me the toys, I'm too weak to even lift them up and I just lay there with the toys by my side, and fall asleep. My mom starts crying again. I wake up a while later, still very sick, and apparently running out of fresh arteries to be injected. My dad rushes by my side and asks if there is anything else I need, or want or whatever, to his surprise I asked for a white bird. Without even questioning it, he dashes out in search of a pet store to find some doves or something. After a long while of searching he finds a shop selling birds, gets a couple doves with a cage, and rushes back to the hospital/clinic. When he gets back he's told by the doctor that he cannot find anymore fresh arteries to inject, and that I don't have much longer until my temperature becomes fatal. My dad immediately refuses to believe such a thing, sets down the bird cage next to my bed, and starts searching my body for arteries that he knows of. After around 5 minutes of searching and trying to remember different locations of arteries, he spots a usable artery somewhere under my jaw, and injects me there quickly. At this point it's late at night, I'm asleep and everyone is tired, my mom had cried herself to sleep holding my hand, the doctor left the room to finish up some tests of mine that were being ran, and my dad sitting next to me trying not to fall asleep but eventually did. Now, my mom had awoke first and was surprised by what she saw, I was awake sitting up right, and playing with my toys happily. My mom quickly awoke my dad and he immediately checked me and took my temperature and everything was fine, at this point both my parents were very fucking happy. My dad ran out and called the doctor and he too checked me out finding that everything was okay. It was as if I never sick at all, I held no symptoms of getting sick, everyone including the doctor were ecstatic. After all the commotion was over, my parents had noticed something, the birdcage. The two birds were dead. No one had any idea what happened to them. But at the time they didn't care, all they cared for was that I was alive and well and back to normal. Now that everything was over and I was back home with my parents, my mom asks me why I asked for a bird back at the hospital, and I innocently replied, the man in my dream showed me a bird and told me I should ask for one. Now at this moment my mom believed that what had happened was some sort of divine miracle. And so do quite a lot of other people who were involved at around that time. I know a lot of you might not believe a word of this, but I still feel it is an event in my life definitely worth sharing. Anyways, I'm off to bed now. Work tomorrow :)
Congratulations you drained the life from your birds you psychopath. And they went to hell because there is no animal heaven. I guess you could say it wasn't much of a miracle for them. EDIT: Guys animal hell isn't funny
That's a freaking cool story to tell your grandkids some day.
Suck the birds blood out to gain it's strength
I call bullshit, but if it's true, why is modern medicine a mother fuckin' miracle?
Woah man, your lucky to be alive!
Wow, you're lucky. Were there magnets involved in any way shape or form? I hear that they are powered by miracles. But seriously, you're lucky to be alive, good thing that the doctor knew what he was doing.
You sucked the souls out of those birds.
You were obviously touched by his noodley appendage.
I call bullshit, but if it's true, why is modern medicine a mother fuckin' miracle?
Fuckin' scientists making me pissed.
Lion, I have a question for you. What made you ask for a white bird? Did it have any previous correspondence to other life events or symbolic significant to you, or did the question insert itself into your thoughts at the moment?
A hospital was unable to save you or even find the cause or sickness you have, but birds saved you?
A hospital was unable to save you or even find the cause or sickness you have, but birds saved you?
Bird shit has curative properties. Just sayin'
A hospital was unable to save you or even find the cause or sickness you have, but birds saved you?
well, fucking miracles
"Miracle from God"? PPFFFTHAHAHAHAAHA no. More like, Miracle from science/medicine.
Maybe you cutted the birds hearts and ate them sleepwalking.
*Wall of Text*
Wow man, You're Lucky, i've never had a Miracle happen to me before! /srs
miracle =//= luck
:doh:
miracle =//= luck

Now hes off to work making money while these birds rot in animal hell.
"Miracle from God"? PPFFFTHAHAHAHAAHA no. More like, Miracle from science/medicine.
Cause the medicine did something else than delay the rise in temperature :downs: Some things just have to remain unexplained
I dunno, people tend to exaggerate things. Do you honestly remember YOURSELF asking for the birds?
Cause the medicine did something else than delay the rise in temperature :downs: Some things just have to remain unexplained
Obviously the birds had an orgy with the kid, god watched. Then killed the birds when they didn't appease him. What couldve happened: Birds died from poor treatment at the pet store, or the hospital. The kids immunity system killed the infection, and the medicine prolonged his body to allow this to happen. But obviously, god was involved.
fucking idiots how do they work? [editline]07:48PM[/editline] i dont want to talk to a scientist because im stupid and dont believe in science but god and miricals and im stupid
particle accelerator
Since when are you even allowed to bring animals into a hospital ward?

How do you even remember a dream from when you were that young?
How do you even remember a dream from when you were that young?
Thats what I was thinking.
