"In the rush I think some of those words didn't come out exactly the way they were meant," Dr Harold Bornstein told NBC News. Dr Bornstein's letter said Mr Trump, 70, would be the "healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency". He said he "picked up" the candidate's own "kind of language" when writing it. Two weeks before the note was written, Mr Trump tweeted to say he had "instructed my long-time doctor to issue, within two weeks, a full medical report", adding that it would "show perfection". Mr Trump later highlighted the endorsement from Dr Bornstein, who faced questions about its exaggerated tone. The doctor, of York's Lenox Hill Hospital, says he may have overstated the case "so that they [the Trump campaign] would be happy". "I think I picked up his kind of language and then I just interpreted it to my own," he said.
Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37203285 The note:
Does this mean some of what he wrote is wrong? Or was it just an exaggerated tone (obviously besides the last bit) The article doesn't say that any of what's reported is wrong unless im missing something
"If elected, Mr Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency" lmao get real he's 70 years old and is out of shape.
It reads like Trump himself wrote it. "He's in great health, fantastic health, best health you've ever seen out of a Presidental candidate. His blood pressure's good, his joints are good, he doesn't smoke, he's all good."
I find it funny how the doctor was given two weeks to write it and then when Trump showed up he scrambled to put somethung together. I dont know why you would procrastinate that much
Stating the obvious here but I still seriously doubt the doctor actually wrote it. Trump's been known to impersonate advocates for himself in the past, and the writing style is way too similar to Trump's own. The doctor was probably pressured into covering for him after people started to doubt the legitimacy of it
Watch it actually be like that episode of the Simpsons where Mr. Burns has every disease known to man but they're all stuck in the door.
Watch it actually be like that episode of the Simpsons where Mr. Burns has every disease known to man but they're all stuck in the door.
They all actually balance eachother out. One episode of the Simpsons reveals that Mr. Burns has lived so long due to his evilness and hatred. I imagine Trump is the same.
I'm starting to see parallels between this retard and Kim of NK. it's like he's trying to build himself this cult of personality that he's this perfect godlike figure when he's really an overweight dipshit of an old man
Does this mean some of what he wrote is wrong? Or was it just an exaggerated tone (obviously besides the last bit) The article doesn't say that any of what's reported is wrong unless im missing something
basically he just wrote a flattering note without any supporting evidence, most likely to fit with exactly what trump wanted to hear. the whole health thing is pretty moot, both of them will be 70 by the time they would assume office, its only trump whos been pushing the notion that clinton is dangerously unhealthy
will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency
approaching the north korean rhetoric zone
His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary.
This part always makes me laugh, as if we're supposed to believe this fat old guy is Superman. It's also somehow impossible to believe that he's never used alcohol or tobacco.
It's also somehow impossible to believe that he's never used alcohol or tobacco.
That's like the one part of that note I'm willing to believe, and even then I still don't entirely believe that Trump doesn't enjoy an expensive whiskey every once in a while
"I've got health, I've got the best health, everyone I ask says I have the best health"
is it bad that i can read things in donald trump's voice in my head? like reading these i'm just hearing 'ol donny trump spouting about his health in my head :v:
This part always makes me laugh, as if we're supposed to believe this fat old guy is Superman. It's also somehow impossible to believe that he's never used alcohol or tobacco.
This made me laugh out loud. EXTRAORDINARY STRENGTH made me think of the time before Garry would show his face and when asked, he said "I'm gorgeous and incredibly strong" and posted a picture of a kid that looked like Powder
"Showed only positive results"... I'm Holding back so many jokes, you DO NOT want Positive results on tests, you want Good or great results!
This part always makes me laugh, as if we're supposed to believe this fat old guy is Superman.
Seriously, what on earth does "extraordinary" mean in a medical context? Obviously the stamina and the strength of a 20/30 year-old guy who is in fairly good shape are pretty damn ordinary. You could make a solid argument that the stamina and strength of top athletes are extraordinary, because they are relatively rare, I guess. How much can Trump lift, though?
Well i mean the average 70 year old has trouble with going up stairs In that regard i guess hes okay
For somebody who's in their 70's he is pretty lively though, just I don't know if that qualifies as "extraordinary" by any stretch of the imagination. Now if he was a practicing aikido badass who sometimes wrecks the people around him because he gets so pumped up on MAGA essence then yeah that would be extraordinary. I just don't see a guy with a visible gut doing that though, so sorry Donald you're at best slightly above "mediocre."
...He's been cancelling more events lately, either stress is getting to him, or he's already out of money again.
Considering he doesn't look like absolute death when he is spotted, I wonder which one it could be! Or how about this: he has new staff who are telling him to shut the fuck up and stop saying dumb stuff. After that brief glimmer of hope they've realized he's actually incapable of saying the dumbest of things and are trying to figure out how to work around that.
Hopefully this shuts up the people who are grasping at straws by saying Clinton shouldn't run for the Presidency due to her 'health'.
His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary.
I'm willing to believe this given the mental gymnastics I've seen surrounding anything Trump related.
Hopefully this shuts up the people who are grasping at straws by saying Clinton shouldn't run for the Presidency due to her 'health'.
The arguments I keep hearing about Hillary's poor health aren't backed up by anything substantial. They're entirely made out of rumors and wild hyperbole. People have literally argued that her awkward joking confused reaction to a flurry of reporter questions was "a stroke," or that her reaction to the balloon drop at the convention was "a stroke." Even though she laughed and smiled seconds later and continued talking in totally normal speaking pattern in clear English. She makes odd facial expressions - somehow that convinces internet medical googling experts that she has a neuro-degenerative disease or fucking syphilis. One of our best presidents, who was elected four times in a row, had fucking Polio. Hillary's facial expressions don't worry me in the slightest.
My mom who's a doctor said: "how could anyone write this? Is he really his doctor?" You generally don't use such positive adjectives in a health letter because you never really know when something will change. They may look healthy now but things can take a turn fast. You state facts, either positive or negative, but you don't go out of your way to tout how amazing a person's health is.
healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency, he is [t]http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/07/10/article-2171634-1401FD4B000005DC-27_1024x615_large.jpg[/t]
