I've seen quite a lot of hate/anger being thrown around everywhere on the internet lately, and it's truthfully disgraceful- Even people who I have considered to be extremely intelligent join in on the hive mind of hating a single thing with a burning passion- such as sexuality, religion, fandoms, etc. From a lot of this hate I see arguments such as "well I always see this behavior in this situation so it must be happening and is applicable here"or "This goes against my principles about x or y and that is why i hate this group". So, I decided to make a thread that is for explaining why you hate certain things in a calm and dignified manner, and talk to people on the opposite side of the argument in a non-hostile environment (so you can better your education of said topic), hopefully to help remove a lot of the arguments that are constantly floating around.
Whenever I see an argument that most people are taking one side of, I almost always play devils advocate and try to see the validity of the other side- Even if I personally disagree with it strongly. You would be surprised about what you could learn, and possibly even change your stance on a subject, so if you're posting here please keep your mind open to other ideas

I'll start it off: honest opinions on religion and why you hate it/love it
well it would appear that people would rather argue than have a good discussion or two. Unfortunate, this thread was a bad idea from the start I guess.
