NEW YORK, NY - The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), under the authority of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in Waynesboro, Tenn. and in conjunction with the Nashville Humane Association and Atlanta Humane Society, rescued 85 dogs from an overcrowded property near Wayne County on Thursday, June 17.
"This is a serious problem throughout this region—people dump dogs and we have no resources or infrastructure to handle the problem," said Corporal Henry Williams of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. "We are very appreciative of the dedication and professionalism of the ASPCA and their partners to help our community in this time of need."
The dogs—which include medium to large breeds such as German shepherds, Labradors and hound mixes—were discovered living in communal, overcrowded and unsanitary conditions on a property owned by an elderly man.
"Many of the dogs coming to the ASPCA's Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital have tested heartworm positive," said Dr. Robert Reisman, Medical Coordinator of Abuse Cases at the ASPCA's Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital. "Heartworm is a treatable condition, but it will take at least six to eight weeks until the treatment is complete. Once these dogs are medically treated and behaviorally evaluated, we plan to make them available for adoption."
:smithicide: Not cool.
Good thing it wasn't PETA, they would kill every single one of those dogs.
And the owner.
And everyone the owner knows

hmm..
Well, PETA needs to kill those dogs so they can make room for more dogs that are being held by the evil shelters that kill them.
Well, doggone, 85? The man's barkin' mad!
Poor dogs. Glad to hear they're all mostly okay.
Perfect husband for crazy cat lady?

"You know what I don't hate? I don't hate this."
The stupid thing about this is that even though the dogs were living in poor conditions, If they're the usual ASPCA, The majority of dogs will be killed since they cannot find a home to for all of them.

Heartworm.
It's what some of the dogs had.
He's making a joke on how the heartworm looks like spaghetti.
Jesus Christ, that's heartworm? That looks enough to kill the fucking dog alone.
Where does the HEART go?
Dog uncle.
And here I was thinking this would be about Heff and the Playboy Mansion.
Fuck Peta, donate to the ASPCA
ASPCA is the real PETA
This wasn't too far from where I reside, I don't know what it is about old people and hoarding animals.
Is it me or are rescued puppies/kittens always more ridiculously adorable than the normal ones.
