Well, I didn't see another thread for progressive house other than the Deadmau5 thread, and there is more more progressive house than just Deadmau5. To me, progressive house seems to be like electronic and dance music but easier on the ears and a lot smoother. Progressive House has influences from disco, electronic, techno, and trance.
Personally, I don't like electronic music with a very strong beat and bass, and I don't like "club" music. See Tiesto and some of Deadmau5's music. I hate it when it's just [B]BA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP BAAA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP[/B] really loud for five straight minutes. I like clean rhythms and beats.
