Almost same width-height-depth ratio, almost same display position and size, practically the same applications target... Latest one would be, if i recall correctly, the window-peeker (or whatever it's called) in snow leopard. Plus yeah, they should totally go wacky with uncomfortable design and bulky design. That's what works these days in the industry, right? Being totally different.

Is this out in Europe? Haven't seen it anywhere.

Not really an iPod clone, you talk about it being the same width and stuff, well arn't all music players these days the same size? and as for the applications and stuff, Microsoft has been doing app stuff for years.

I kinda want to replace my Touch with this. The Touch just seems like a lesser version of the iPhone. No microphone, therefore less apps to get, etc.

I'd say that the lack of camera and GPS are the major factors. And I don't think this is a competitor to the iPod Touch yet, there's almost no apps, and the lack of a public SDK won't help that much. I don't see any reasons for switching, maybe if you don't have an iPod Touch yet and is looking for something simpler this would be a good device.
