G4 Puts Final Nail in the Coffin, Cancels Videogame Programming - Polidicks

The thing is, a channel entirely dedicated to gamers isn't profitable anymore. Gamers are a niche audience and they've found other sources of entertainment and information nowadays, specially with the coming of the ubiquitous internet, so it's even harder to appeal to them with a TV show. They get info from news sites, gameplay from youtube, reviews from blogs. I'd say it's the same thing that brought Nintendo Power down. Why would you wait for a monthly magazine or a weekly show when you can get what would be in them with a quick google, whenever you wanted?

that's literally what made X-Play fun to watch did you watch X-Play for its intelligent game criticism? no you didn't because that never happened on X-Play i remember one of the games they reviewed had an enemy that had a homonym for cock. best 30 minutes of dick jokes ever. a giant dick attacking a sky scraper is the best thing X-Play has ever done

AoTS was never as awesome as The Screen Savers. TechTV was so much better without G4. :'(

I can seriously only think of three shows that are on G4 how is it even a TV station still? All they have is cops, ninja warrior, and... .... I can't even think of anything else.

I remember when I was a kid and my friend had G4 and I didn't so every weekend I would go to his house, and we'd watch shows like Cinema Tech, Icons and Codemonkeys all the time.
