So basically today I've been in the old piggy station for an unrelated reason and while there one of the cops I was talking to basically was the most misinformed cop I've seen some of the stuff he said:

Dealers lace weed with LSD and other drugs
This is to make weed addictive
The weed grown in the 60s was 'natural' and grown outdoors so weaker than the stuff we have today which apparently has "only seen light when you take it out the baggie"
As a result this makes it much stronger and dangerous to use.
Basically I was wondering if there is any way of anonymously reporting this guy, I know drugs have side affects but preaching such misinfomation is wrong, especially seeing as he admited he'd never tried weed so had no experience to talk about. Also if anything would come from reporting him or would it just be filed away as a butthurt drug user's rant? The second thing is I got raided a while back and it's funny to see thats some of the things they took haven't been mentioned on any of the seized property list, granted they were paraphernalia but there hasn't been a single mention of any of this stuff they took which was about £75 in worth. I'm in the UK btw.
haha wow, what a dumbass.
Did you confront him? You could have.
Should've just gone over to him and said: "My god sir, I cannot believe how wrongly misinformed about marijuana you are. You should really do some unbiased research, just to comprehend how moronic you sound right now. I am quite surprised that your colleagues aren't laughing at you right now, because you sound like you came down in the last shower." Saying something like that would be perfect because you don't insult him in a way that warrants an arrest and he would probably feel stupid afterwards, whether or not he goes to check if you were telling the truth. [editline]11:06PM[/editline] Basically, you missed the perfect opportunity to call a cop a dumb cunt with no consequence.
I didn't call him up on it because he was the deciding guy on if I got to go free or not, I thought qustioning him about drugs would make him reconsider so I held my tongue on it.
^Good thinking. I've never got the argument that somehow more potent weed is somehow more 'dangerous'. If anything more potent marijuana is safer due to the fact that you get to your comfort level without having to smoke as much, resulting in less inhaled plant matter, resulting in less carcinogens inhaled.
You did the right thing by getting out of there as quickly as possible without asking questions, now you're free to do what you want and reporting the guy won't have any consequences for you, its not a crime to let his superiors know about the crap he's spreading. Call the police station and you should get through to a desk person, tell them you want to speak to a superior to report misconduct of an officer that you dealt with recently, they should listen to you and deal with it appropriately. I wouldn't expect him to be punished very severely or anything like that, or even to hear back from them. My experience with UK police is if you don't chase them, they won't get off their arses for you.
sadly quite a bunch of cops are like that either they are dumbasses or they are corrupt or small minority that smoke a bit of pot and is a cop like every cop should be
Why were you there? Just out of curiosity..
sadly quite a bunch of cops are like that either they are dumbasses or they are corrupt or small minority that smoke a bit of pot and is a cop like every cop should be
I've had the ones before who said to me on the side to just not get caught, I've had my stuff go missing after being raided and I've now had the dumbasses. Oh well. What makes it even worse is an old friend of mine who is adamant that weed kills you is training to become a cop, it's a shame to see the circle of idiocy continuing on.

Dealers lace weed with LSD and other drugs
This is to make weed addictive

Not sure where you live(guessing USA), but here some dealers do that. Mostly the ones that you find on the streets.
Not sure where you live(guessing USA), but here some dealers do that. Mostly the ones that you find on the streets.
Nobody is going to buy a more costly product and put it in. They're not making any money, in fact they're losing money. You don't get laced pot unless you ask for it.
Not sure where you live(guessing USA), but here some dealers do that. Mostly the ones that you find on the streets.
No they don't. That would be like the liquor store lacing your rot-gut with Dom Pèrignon. [editline]06:34PM[/editline] Not to mention I don't think you can even fucking smoke LSD...
Not sure where you live(guessing USA), but here some dealers do that. Mostly the ones that you find on the streets.
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. Really, you cannot even smoke LSD, it would just get destroyed with heat. Plus, it'd cost more to that dumb dealer. Plus, nobody would buy his weed if you go on a 12 hours psychedelic trip every time you smoke that weed. I hate you and your misinformation.
Not sure where you live(guessing USA), but here some dealers do that. Mostly the ones that you find on the streets.
Read OP I said UK, and no they don't. I'll explain everything I put in the OP in hope of helping someone like you.

Why lace weed, which is generally quite cheap with an expensive and hard to synthsis chemical which is highly reactive to light, moisture and heat (also what .vachon644 said but I'm speaking hypothetically) The same for other drugs. LSD is not addictive, even if weed was laced with it you wouldn't become addicted, I can't really think of any other way to lace weed which wouldn't be obvious, I mean you could soak it in liquid K or PCP but both would be really noticable in effect and K isn't physically addictive anyway (not sure on the latter). Granted we may have bred stronger strains of weed by cross breeding etc, but this in no way makes any difference, it's godly impossible to overdose on THC and stength would generally just mean you take less to get the same effect. Not to mention as a plant of course it needs light to grow, artifical light is no different from sunlight, he's basically arguing that artifically grown crops are bad. Weed can be stronger if it's the right strain but it's nowhere near dangerous.
I once met a cop who told me "It's good that you stopped smoking, because Hashish occupies the receptors in your brain, and then your brain cells die because of that." My girlfriend, who is a pharmacist, was sitting next to me in the passenger seat and had to press her hand to her mouth to keep herself from snorting with laughter. What's even more funny (or rather scary) is that those cops were systematically looking for people driving under the influence, as they told me, and were supposed to be specially trained for that job. They had stopped me because I kind of looked like a raccoon as a result of the night before. But I explained to them how I had stopped smoking marijuana long ago and they believed me.
or small minority that smoke a bit of pot and is a cop like every cop should be
I don't agree with that. I agree, smoking pot is not terribly harmful, but officers of the law need to be able to fully think about what they are doing at all times, no matter the circumstance.
Don't know I we met cops that looked quite baked, hungry, and they left me drunk on motorbike.
I don't agree with that. I agree, smoking pot is not terribly harmful, but officers of the law need to be able to fully think about what they are doing at all times, no matter the circumstance.
They aren't on duty 24/7
They aren't on duty 24/7
SHOULD BE :smugdog:
