Interesting, but it seemed rather silly when they did the test.
That vocoded Sci-Fi esque "Attention... Object on track..." would have been a big tip-off that it was fake.
This is like one of the few series in youtube red that is worth watching
Boy that was quite intense, I always remember the Trolley problem about thanks to all the jokes and memes about multi-track Drifting, but man, It really can mess you up if you were in that situation.
Also Vsauce is going more and more Insane with his experiments, and I love it. Cant believe this is the same man who dressed as a Yoshi and offered Spit Facts to Idubbbz and Maxmoefoe!

They will have needed something to make sure the participants were aware of the scenario. It's silly, but who are they to say there wouldn't be such a warning?
If I was able to act solely on reason in a situation like that I would switch the track back and forth, hoping it would derail the slowly moving train and only injuring the one or two train engineers inside. But in reality I would either freeze or panic as I have trouble handling responsibility even in everyday situations.
"We learned that different people react differently to intense situations but watching that guy cry was pretty funny"
SCIENCE!
All in all this was really interesting. Sucks that its only on youtube red.
I really wish Youtube Red would come to Canada already so I can watch the first season of this
it was interesting, but i dont think it really offered anything new or came to any meaningful conclusion other than what is obvious to a lot of people.

most people have experienced this feeling of "saying you'll do something but when it comes to it, you don't do it" in a moral dilemma sense, and a trolley problem is just the same thing when you boil it down, you'll probably act the same way i'm willing to bet

Is it not? I have the option to buy the other episodes individually (in Canada). I haven't tried it, but the button is there.
Good episode though, felt bad for Cory.
