Civilisation Part II:The war begins
Rules
1. Dont expect everyone, or anyone, to be kind, you may be attacked randomly at any time as long as the attacker has acted correctly.
2. Don't moan when attacked, it's part of the game.
3. Speed building is an option - but only if you have joined late, or haven't declared on your base over a long period of time. However, when not speed building, be clear to show your units/or equivalent building/working on things, instead of just making them appear.
4. Do not flame each other in this thread, go somewhere else.
5. War is allowed in the capital (currently IMDA) seeing as it isn't just a peaceful place as it used to be.
6. This is a continuing thread from http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=912585 as it has/will reached the post limit.
7. It is a recommendation that you start with around one to ten men if you're starting from scratch.
8. We can, and will, skip you, or remove you, if you are to "play God" or have some unbeatable army.
9. We use the standard declare system, used throughout PW, but with some minor changes. You do not have to declare on your territory if nobody else is there, but if you don't notify anyone someone could declare on your territory while you're editing. To move into another territory you must declare on said territory, usually by the name of the person who owns the territory, such as "Declare on ABC's".
10. Don't save images as .JPG, or use Internet Explorer. We will ignore you and remove you from the world map.
11. No meta-gaming (knowing something about someone when your forces couldn't possibly know. EX: Guy 1 talks to Guy 2 about making an alliance on the other side of the map. You dont have any forces on his territory. You would be completely unaware of this, really, and thus should not ally until troops actually arrive at his territory).
12. No nuclear weapons, game enders, or other such units may be made. Super-heavy/elite units however maybe made, but they must be researched/take a long time to build, otherwise we'll just ignore you.
13. Alliances may be made, though massive ones are generally looked down upon. If an alliance is made, do not pretend to know about it unless the alliance has contacted you.
14. Try not to clog the thread with stupid posts or 3-word answers. It takes up space. There is a random chat thread for that.
15. You must declare on the World Map to claim a tile to start in.
16. Alliances/Players should place a insignia/notification on the world map when they conquer a territory, this will help to prevent confusion.
17. If you are absent for extended period of time without notifying anyone (over a week), you will be booted from the thread (by being removed from the World Map).
18. Do not excessively powergame in your actions. You are not a godlike-headshotting-bullet dodging-super powered person.
19. When moving across territories, take a realistic amount of time to do so. It's unfair to move halfway across the grid in 2 hours.
20. Try to use role-play when making actions, the more depth you give to something, the better people will view you.
21. "The Capital" (currently Imperial Military District of Affairs) is a Diplomatic Capital of the land. You may try to take it over, but it will most likely be heavily defended by player forces.
22. No expanding the world map. Players may be booted after a week of inactivity, but it is strongly recommended that you ask players, in the thread, whether you are free to remove these inactive players before removing them.

[editline]01:45PM[/editline]
\o I declared here before you on the other thread.
Yeah but i said declare on other thread, which you ignored
So we do we have the old map if we're supposed to start start here when the other ends?
We both declared 22 minutes ago as I see. Shall I extend the map after Darth makes his map turn ?
[editline]01:58PM[/editline]
Meaning right now ?
Gah, so much for me doing it. Mind if I PM you the rulesheet I drafted Trifon and add anything you think should be?
Uh, okay
[editline]12:12PM[/editline]
Added a few
[editline]12:16PM[/editline]
So we do we have the old map if we're supposed to start start here when the other ends?
Errr... What?
Wtf.. you could of waited till it locked, now it's all going to get highly confusing.
Looks like someone didnt read
Looks like someone didnt read
I didn't say the other one hadn't finished. I said you made the matter confusing and could of waited till it locked. :v:
[editline]12:20PM[/editline]
21.if all tiles are filled, then add a new tile at the side
no, just fucking no!11
Yes because the words "The war begins" and "Invasion" are totally similar
Plus, that science and the games looks reeeaaallly similiar
Yes because the words "The war begins" and "Invasion" are totally similar

I mean you'll get newbies coming over here like "wutuf yay i pust loloz"
Kick em...
Kick em...
You have moderation powers!? :o
[editline]12:23PM[/editline]
Remove rule 21.
[editline]12:24PM[/editline]
Look, if half the game is done by these rules:
1.NO FLAMEWAR.
2.Don't have an huge army.
3.Don't skip lands. If you want to get to some place you need to ask permission to fly over a tile.
4.Declare if you are adding a tile spot or going to some ones land. (EX: Declare on Kevin's land!)
5.We will skip you if you are an army of invisible ninjas, save as a JPG. or use Internet Explorer.
6. Declare war on some one, and only attack if they let you.
7.No expanding the world map.
You can't just remove some of them for your liking, it'll just hugely screw everything up. >.>
[editline]12:25PM[/editline]
Also your grammar, punctuation, and formatting are horrible. :v:
[editline]12:25PM[/editline]
I see why they call us immature over here.
Uuuh... What?
[editline]12:27PM[/editline]
For gods sakes make your mind up, first your saying noobs will come so i say kick them as a solution now your saying you cant kick em for my likings
This is a continuation of the last Civilization, no? So, you shouldn't just remove rules/make them the opposite. In the old thread Rule 7 was:
7.No expanding the world map.
In this thread, you've turned around the rule and made it:
21.if all tiles are filled, then add a new tile at the side
It's just stupid!
Aright then, i did that
Thank you for your co-operation, are you using Visorak's rules now too?
Most of em
Most of em
Mind if I fix this up grammatically, make it look nicer, and then p/m it to you?
What about the "no war on diploland" rules, cuz i think that a "diplomatic" city with war? when have you heard of a diplomatic war?
[editline]12:31PM[/editline]
Uh, okay
[editline]12:32PM[/editline]
Uh, okay
