I think the owner has a point. Everyone is too serious these days. We need more humour in our lives. And it's such a harmless name for a burger joint. I would love to go to a burger place and order a Super Fly Ho Burger and not get a dirty look.
I feel that we're starting to go back a bit to the way things were in the early 1900's. Back then things were very serious and everyone was uptight and stressed (for good reason of course). Then along came certain comedians who shocked the world with their outrageous skits. Even the music and style of clothing changed.
It's like something you'd see out of GTA San Andreas :v:
You can offend anyone for anything nowadays
People these day easily offended, just disagree with their opinion and they will turn into raging bull
I just recently remembered this story too, thanks for the memories
Love how the guy ordering just said "number one please" instead of ordering it by it's whole name, super fly ho burger with cheeze.

the video is from four years ago
nothing has changed
nothing has gotten "worse" since your parents were born
what has stayed the same is every generation bitching about the good ol days they didn't exist in
That menu is gold. :v:

The first:
At Duke University, a freshman wrote on Facebook earlier this year that he would not read the book "Fun Home " as assigned for class because its sex scenes, which include lesbian sex, would force him to compromise his "personal Christian moral beliefs."
This isn't a new phenomena. Stupid people complaining about everything takes new forms, but doesn't go away. The rest of the article was about students disagreeing with each other in the news... hardly representative of the state of our society.
The second article is about a university staff member considering the complaints raised by students and finding agreement with them. Sounds like a non-argument; in-fact, it sounds like you're the dramatic one in this.
As to the UKIP student, my dad was complaining about this ever since I was a child just after 9/11; terrorism causes hysteria, and always has (just consider WWII japanese internment for example).
What relevance could the violent idiots of your last link have to this discussion at all? More links doesn't automatically make your point any better.
Nothing changed.

I would too, it's a lot quicker to say "number one please" versus "super fly ho burger with cheese please". Four versus nine syllables.
Is this restaurant still open? The owner girl seems pretty cool, it sucks if her work just went to waste

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. I'm sure you were aware that we're talking about the last 50 years before choosing to misconstrue it anyway. The norms change, but the complaining doesn't.
I like that it's in giant red text all caps
in my head it sounds like regular car reviews is saying the name

What, you expect gospel christians not to be offended by "Fat Ho Burgers"? :v:

Right across from the church.
God bless.

According to the article they just relocated, still plenty of fat ho to go around!
According to the article they just relocated, still plenty of fat ho to go around!
Towards the end of the article they mention that they made a call to the area where they relocated and were told that they no longer were in business for quite a while in the new location. They could have relocated again, but I was not able to find further information about the restaurant.
