• Good Films You Never Want To See Again.

Some films I've seen, I'll either rewatch because I'm looking for things I've missed or simply because I'm comfortable with what I'm seeing. There's a lot of reasons why rewatching films are good. However, there's a few flicks I'll never see again, due to them being either "too strong" for a first watch, or that I feel they've delivered all they possibly could on a first viewing. I'm not one to rewatch documentaries or tv shows though. few of mine: Dancer in the Dark United 93 Breaking the Waves House of Sand and Fog Eureka Shame kind of regret seeing Schindler's List again. Initial view was enough tbh, but the blu-ray is pretty good.
The Road. I thought it was a well done piece, but the bleak atmosphere coupled with the disturbing imagery and near-constant threat of death by cannibalism was just too much for me.
Click I feel like if I ever watched that movie again my atoms would destabilize and I'd melt into a puddle of depression and sadness
I Am Legend. Kill hundreds of people, kill Will Smith, [sp]BUT NOT THE FUCKING DOG. THAT SHIT IS NOT OKAY.[/sp]
Pretty much any mystery movie or one with a twist ending. It's tough to watch the movie again, knowing what the ending is. Like the Book of Eli.

Then I watched parts of it a few more times for a paper I was writing. I can definitely see why people wouldn't want to watch that again. The vast majority of people were crying by the end of the screening.
Pulp Fiction Good the first time, but would never lead me to watch it again.

Honestly, any good movie that I understood. I don't see a point in re-watching it, as long as I understood the story line.

My brother decided to spoil the ending of Fight Club before I watched it. Utterly ruined the movie for me.

Requiem for a Dream, it makes me feel like absolute shit after watching even bits of it.
The Hangover, it was such a funny film but it relied on the mystery and plot twists so it doesn't have the same effect after the first viewing. It's a shame because the first viewing was superb.
Fight Club
The Godfather
The Godfather Part II Give me all the shit you want, but I damn near loathe it. The only factor that makes me even consider rewatching it is Robert Di Nero as young Vito.
Young Vito is just about the only reason to watch Godfather Part II.

The Warriors Was well-directed and all that jazz, I just didn't care for it, and it felt a little overrated to me.
The Grey
Young Vito is just about the only reason to watch Godfather Part II.
dude, pacino is an evil bastard in that film. all the more reason imo.
oh man thats like, the film I have watched the most in my life
what are you masochistic? [editline]13th March 2013[/editline] who am i kidding i've seen it a few times too. :(
I guess I enjoy films that invoke a strong emotional response and not many films do that well.
Stoning of Soroya M. why in the name of ass would I watch this again, this is one film that makes me want to hulk smash n' shit.
Slumdog Millionaire.
Enter The Void. I mean I'm glad I watched it, but I will never EVER watch it again.
Requiem For A Dream. This movie makes me feel like a drug addict, that's how the atmosphere of this movie works, it's quite heavy.
