He has the uncanny ability to bring his movie career back from the dead whenever he stars in a box office turkey.
But despite having this unusual talent, Nicolas Cage has denied he is a vampire after being pressed on a bizarre internet rumour by talk show king David Letterman on The Late Show last night.
The caustic chat show host produced a picture of Civil War-era Tennessee man from the 1860s, which an eBay seller had claimed was proof the Ghost Rider star is a member of the undead.
But the 48-year-old said: 'Now look I don't drink blood, and last time I looked in the mirror I had a reflection, so I'm not going with his vampire theory. I'm just not going to do it.'
The hilarious exchange started when the witty chat show said he wanted to ask him about 'one of those things sweeping the internet.
He then pulled out the picture, explained its history and wanted to find out the Moonstruck star's take on the theory.
What a cool guy
Too bad. He'd probably get a lot of chicks if he was.
Just what he wants us to think
I think hes more of a zombie rather than a vampire due to the soul less acting he does.
Yeah,i thought as much.
I mean we have never seen him sparkling have we?
sure bout that nick?

I hate it when articles are written like this. They seem to avoid using his name as much as possible and refer to him by what films he has been in.

He puts plenty of soul into his acting, just watch any of his angry scenes. What he is lacking is talent.

They do that because putting a celebrity in the news is a way to get people to rewatch his movies. It's kind of the number 1 reason why tabloids exist, too.

I get that but it just makes it awkward to read.

He was good in Kick Ass.
He is a good actor, but some of the movies are simply crap and do not fit into his personality.
Face off is the shit.
That sounds like something... A REAL VAMPIRE WOULD SAY!
Kidding. The Movie related description of him paints him more of a pheonix.

Sometimes he's really good, but plenty of times his acting is just terrible.

Daily Mail
He is just one man in the long line of immortals in the film industry including Keanu Reeves and Sean Connery
He was good in Kick Ass.
As any actor would be at some point of their lives?
All the examples I've seen of him "sucking" are from pretty old movies.
Anyone else see something similar about how a french painter who was a really weird guy in the late 1700's just disappeared and the only thing he did was self portraits that looked exactly like Keanue Reaves?
I find it hilarious that I'm watching "the Rock" right now.
I'll admit, he isn't the best actor, but fuck he can be funny at times. This being one of them.
New movie starring NICHOLAS CAGE as NICHOLAS CAGE

I disagree, has anyone seen the remake of Bad Lieutenant?

Also Lord of War
DIRTY LIER
That's what they all say.
He was good in Kick Ass.
kick-ass was one of those once in a lifetime films where nic cage was unironically the best part of the movie
That movie about him being a Bad Cop in New Orleans was shit.
Still not convinced.
He has no proof against being a time traveller though.
That's what he wants us to think
He didn't deny being immortal, though
