More accurately 2:07 to avoid the jump.
Edit: Maybe people just insta-dumb gametheory stuff but I really liked this episode. Quite dark, but the connections felt nice to look at.
I watched other videos from this guy and I was expecting this one to be really stupid and farfetched, but lots of this actually makes sense. I don't know about each robot being a parallel to each victim, but the overall plot is most likely a parallel to the incident he mentioned.

Or maybe people give boxes because "It's all a dream" isn't much better than "did you know Ash Ketchum is actually in a coma"-- It's an explanation that could fit almost anything, and it's there just to justify shit like you being instantly safe once you reach 6AM or why Ash never ages, and the most likely reason as to why those things happen is that ITS A VIDEOGAME.
The idea of it being based on those true events is definitely possible, seeing as Nathan Dunlap's been in the news recently, even in the past month.
I really don't see why it wouldn't be linked to that story, but the whole "YOU ARE THE CHILD MURDERER" thing really came out of left field and doesn't make as much sense.
Yeah, I think it's because he looked so far into it expecting an answer but didn't find enough conclusive evidence to really tell you much about the game, so he just went for the easiest theory to explain
Why can't a game just be about murderous animatronics? Why does it need to have some academy award backstory?

Because its fun to speculate.

Well, there's nothing wrong with having some backstory. Adds to the game, if anything?
I don't like Game Theory, but I will admit this video was quite good, only two things I dislike about this is "YOU ARE THE KILLER", but not as much as "It's a dream", I mean come on. That is stupid and a terrible Cliche, if the video never mentioned it being a dream, then yeah I would of believed this theory more, but with it being a dream, that is just stupid. Cause what is the sequel then? Is he dreaming of being another person with new Animatronics, a new place and the old ones returning to kill you? Okay yeah that could be an idea but there are two problems.
1. The guy that supposedly Killed the Kids and the guy having the dream, he is on the dayshift in the sequel, why isn't he dreaming about that?
and 2. From all the dreams I have had (and remembered), I have always been myself, not 100% accurate, I was a woman one time but besides that, I felt like myself in the dream, like nothing was wrong or different, but still me.

Oh and I don't like the title, it kinda gives off the vibe that this is in fact the actual Origin Story of the game, and I get that because of his videos since some people take his videos to heart and consider them Canon, like Rosalina being Luigi's daughter, or the Pyro being gay. People actually do, I remember some guy was flamed at because he made the Pyro straight or a girl.
Man, I just hate it when he talks :v: He's got that whole douche announcer voice going, and it confuses me whether he's being douchey for the joke and to not take his videos seriously or because he thinks that voice is actually pleasing to listen to.
