FTSE 100 heavyweights pummel the independence campaign, fearful a yes vote could lead to dire consequences for the economy.
Britain's most senior business leaders have warned of serious economic consequences if the Scottish people vote for independence.
In a survey of FTSE 100 chairmen carried out exclusively for The Sunday Telegraph with days to go before the referendum, nearly 80pc said a Yes vote would have a significant negative economic effect.
The stark findings add to the growing chorus of anti-independence sentiment among the biggest names in the financial and business community. When the same survey was taken in February, 66pc said a Yes vote would have negative economic effects.
The poll, conducted by top headhunter Korn Ferry, also revealed that 67pc of FTSE 100 bosses feared it would harm blue-chip companies. The findings deal a further blow to the campaign for independence, following a week when some of Britain’s biggest corporations warned of the dramatic consequences a Yes vote could trigger.
The flurry of negative reaction was kicked off by Scotland’s two biggest banks, which announced they would be forced to relocate south if the Scottish public were to vote for independence.
Mostly it's people who think we'll be better off independent economically and politically. One of the major reasons cited is that the Parliament at Westminster, one of the oldest democratic institutions in the world, is undemocratic.

John Oliver summed up the debate pretty well.

If you want to skip his monologue he starts talking about the politics of it at roughly 5:35.
That video isn't available in my country. If Scotland becomes independent, do you reckon they'll be able to watch it?

Jesus christ, there are so many people on facebook that seem to think that "giving valid points that show that independence will cause massive financial and economic instability" is a "fear campaign". They'll just ignore every criticism for muh freedom aye . It's frustrating.
I even saw somebody put up "It's better to be a lion for a day, than a sheep for a lifetime, vote yes". If that isn't one of the most self-destructive motivational quotes, then my god I have no idea what is.

Not even that, anything that shows economic realities is deemed a fear campaign. Anything and everything is a Tory conspiracy to oppress the Scots according to some folks and it's just pathetic.
The real question is, how long till flag dog updates on FP to show the Scots?

Flagdog updates for no man.

The flag shows where you originally made the account I believe. I made my account when I lived in Cyprus but I live in England now, so I don't think it'll ever change.

They also go around on social media generally calling no-voters traitors and the like.
"But they have oil!"
Well that settles it I guess
