Not really, though Herald Sun and a few affiliated channels are owned by Rupert Murdoch. It's just this time the anti-Labor propaganda won out because all the surface issues like the information leaks and Rudd's incessant meddling just didn't stop, the liberals had a vast amount of ammunition to use and Gillard just wasn't communicating how well off the country really is.
