Rockstar has shed a little more light on the Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto 5, which was announced overnight. Are you a fan of "detail"? Because there's a "stunning new level" of the stuff in GTA 5 for the next generation Xbox, apparently.
According to a release, the game boasts "across-the-board graphical and technical improvements", such as "increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North's epic reimagining of Southern California".
watch as its just x360 to x1, ps3 to ps4 and pc users can go suck a dick
snip
Wow, that looks stunning, I mean, the whole game already looked drop dead gorgeous, but this is like Avatar on steriods

the ps3 conference guy even said himself 'playstation 3 players and xbox 360 players can transfer their content to playstation 4' so you know.
cool stuff we already knew

That stuff is hosted on the Rockstar Social Club so there's no reason for it not to be cross platform. Also, Andrew House said in the Sony conference that PS4 users can transfer from both old consoles to the PS4 version.

We're probably getting the actual version of the assets instead of the dumbed down version for 360/PS3, so technically the game was already stunning from the very beginning.
That article had so little information it was basically a tweet.

:v:
Despite all the graphical improvements, online is still gonna be a stagnant shitfest, 6 months and no sign of heists, all you can do to earn money is grind grind grind it's boring as fuck.
Yea my problem is how Rockstar should do a side by side video because while the trailer looked nice, I couldn't directly see the difference. It was only until I saw screenshots like those that I saw just how empty GTA5 on last gen was.
I really hope there's a glitch/hack to get rid of the damn money grind. I just want to fuck about with other players, not constantly wish I had more money ingame.
All i want is Independence FM damnit

Are we talking about the same game? GTA V looked anything but gorgeous, the best part about it were the animations.
So better shaders, high res textures, more vegetation, better particle effects (explosions?), a higher frame rate, faster background rendering, and possibly enhanced physics?

For a last-gen game with a decent amount of content, it looked pretty damn good.
Are there any system requirements for PC? I wonder how good i'll open this game
I like the new screenshots, they look a lot better, but does anyone else think that they look a bit too dark?
The lens flares are annoying too
Massive difference.
Not really that noticeable on these small pictures (except for the first one maybe).
Finally justice for the PC community.. one question remains however, the moddability of this game, we are long due a replacement for San Andreas Multiplayer mod, GTA 4's online buried it's GTA 4 online mod which was a shame and it was not so successful because of how "boxed" in the console port was.
All I want is proper mod tools
please

We always get good mod tools, just not from Rockstar. Just because it won't support mods doesn't mean it won't be cracked wide open like every other GTA.
remember when Rockstar said that the 360 gen was perfectly powerful
so does this possibly mean 64 player freeroam instead of lame 16 on that massive world? also,
how much do you lose when you die in GTAO? I haven't played it in a while and I knew it was fucking pathetic that you lost $2000 when you had like 25k.

It's a percentage of your cash with a limit of $500, I think.
Meh was hoping a for a big detailed list like that cat!
Now the system requirements for pc....
