Guys Shaving Pubes?

Throughout my life I have perceived hair to be somewhat of a "manly" attribute (Arm pit hair, chest hair, etc.). For this reason, I shy away from shaving anything other than my face. When it comes to girls on the other hand, I find hair, like most guys, to be pretty unattractive. Today, I would expect that most girls over the age of 16 shave most of their body hair. This discussion got brought up between me and some friends. One of which has been in a sexually active relationship for some time. He argued that all men should shave their pubes. Specifically, their groin/balls. He insisted that, unless you do otherwise, women could care less about you.

So, I ask you facepunch, is shaving the same between sexes? Or is this asshat just confused about most women's views? [B](Bitch gotta deal with it!)[/B]

It's hard to keep up with it, but I highly recommend it. For these reasons :

A: Makes it look bigger. Always.
B: Feels good, Looks good
C: Not so messy, easier cleanup
D: Feels better for her

There's some more positives, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. Also, she may pull the "If you don't have to, I don't have to card" I've gotten that before.

If you're worried about shaving the boys, don't. Ball hair literally falls off at the slightest hint of a razor. The general member area is pretty standard. Trim it close with scissors (Don't circumcise yourself, idiot) Use hot water to relax the pores and shave. It's likely you will get a lot of cuts, but don't worry the go away really quick. I've heard going over a shaved area with a stick deodorant reduces bumps, but I haven't tried it myself.

Also : Be ready for some major itching by the second day on. Seriously.

Yeah, really, just trim.

Shaving leads to unpleasant itching, unless you do it EVERY day, which as we all know makes the hair grow back faster...forcing you to. Plus those little stumps of hair make for a lot of chaffage. A lack of friction also means that sweat will grease those joints right up and your junk will be all nasty, slimy and slick. Blegh.

Keep the trimmed hair to less than 2 cm, and it'll look great and feel fine. It's the way to go.

on topic: I shave. not often, it can grow to be as dense as a jungle between shavings, but seeing as I don't have a girlfriend yet, it's not a big deal until the pubes get to said jungle undergrowth length. and then some.
