That zooming hurt my head.
when he fired the shotgun i lost it
when he fired the shotgun i lost it
This When he fired the pistol and the FOV tweaked out it was bad enough, but the fact that it gets worse with the shotgun is just plain hilarious
How did this get worse when brought to PC? Some of those issues weren't even in the iOS version!
I never played in on my tablet and now I'm glad I didn't. This mess has nothing to do with Deus Ex and should've stayed only on mobiles for filthy casuals.

They already made a metric fuckload on mobile, and thought not even trying with the port would make more money. They probably just changed the option on what to create the executable for in Unity with the settings as an aftethought. Except they somehow made a worse version than Android.
I just imagine this happening whenever the shotgun is fired:
Oh yeah, speaking of Guise of the Wolf (he mentions it in the beginning), whatever came of the big feud between him and the developers of that? News about it just kinda went quiet.

At least the title of the game is honest.

Deus Ex III was stellar, its dlc actually even IMPROVED on the base game gameplay-wise.. and then THIS? Why.. WHY? What have you done to one of my favourite games of all time! [editline]19th March 2014[/editline] It looks like Deus Ex III poorly remade by some students as a project or something :( [editline]19th March 2014[/editline] Mobile is a cancer for the gaming industry.

Despite what everyone will say for the platform it was made for it was neat. It just doesn't translate nicely into a PC game so idk why they did it

How apt that it's called "Deus Ex: The Fall"
Oh I see. We're going to have a pattern then with Deus Ex games like with Windows versions. DX1 - Good DX:IW - Bad DX:HR - Good DX:TF - Bad
Haven't they said the fall is an episodic series? Well then I hope they'll remake it all with the DE:HR mechanics and engine with all the parts in it in a proper prequel for the PC once they're done.
That means the upcoming Deus Ex game will be good!
Did SquareEnix say they were going solely mobile?
Why did people dislike Invisible War so much? There were some terrible gameplay mechanics, but I thought the story and environments, etc were actually really engaging.
Why did people dislike Invisible War so much? 16:19 somehow made me laugh
People are annoyed because it made like 3 gameplay features more streamlined which somehow makes it "Not Deus Ex"
Well the inventory system was stupid, the levels were extremely small and loading takes forever even on a fast computer, the stealth/combat/hacking paths were extremely obvious and there wasn't much room for exploration without it being made obvious, the ammo system was stupid, the plot was mediocre and the choices have no meaningful impact on anything, and various other things which I could type about for days.
People are annoyed because it made like 3 gameplay features more streamlined which somehow makes it "Not Deus Ex"
Stupid inventory system, stupid universal ammo, incredibly linear level design, simplified mechanics all over (even stuff that shouldn't have been simplified, see universal ammo), console port meant levels were ridiculously small.

Morrowind was bigger than Invisible War IIRC, and the PS2 version of Deus Ex was still pretty open. Shame this turned out to be such utter shit. Looking at the tutorial, it seems like the story was meant to give you a look at the world from the bad guys' perspective. That could have been really neat if used well, especially in a Human Revolution-esque Deus Ex game. But no. Shitty mobile ports, hooray.
Why did people dislike Invisible War so much? There were some terrible gameplay mechanics, but I thought the story and environments, etc were actually really engaging.
The environments looked pretty bad even for 2003 and required you to wait in a half-a-minute loading screen every time you entered or left a building. The story, while not that bad, was still nowhere as good as in the first game (although I liked those hivemind-mutant-society-things, they were kinda cool). They pulled a very wierd in order to make all three endings canon, and it definitely backfired at them. Also the way the story was presented... Let's just say that even the most cheesy of the DE1 lines are still profesional-tier compared to what most of the dialogs seemed like. While I would be able to forgive that if at least the gameplay was as unique as in the first game - unfortunately, you probably already noticed that's not the case here... TL;DR: They took everything the worst from the Deus Ex PS2 port, and mixed it with medicore sci-fi story and crappy engine.
