I have recently purchased a Blackberry Tour (on Wednesday actually). It is my very first Blackberry device and smartphone ever.
I simply love it. It does everything I want it to do.
I was going to either switch to ATT and get the iPhone, since it's so hyped, but I decided against it and I'm glad that I did.
I made a whole long thing about why Blackberry devices are great, and why they are superior to the iPhone.

If you are thinking about getting a new phone, and are willing to spend an extra $30/month, then I highly recommend the Blackberry Tour.

you answered your own question
i like them cause they make you look like a boss :c00lbert:

I texted someone on my BlackBerry, LIKE A BOSS!
I actually do feel like this guy:

It's good for older people and people who would need it (like a businessmen or whatever), but when I see a fucking 16-19 year old using one I fucking rage...
There was this big thing in my school when all the "cool kids" had iPhones. I just felt like it was all the "rich, snotty" kids who wanted to flaunt about their money and their cash. I don't see why a kid would need a Blackberry, I would understand why they want the iPhone though, cause of the Music and all that :p
I'm 16, but i'd rather have a cheap little Nokia and spend money on something worthwhile, rather than go and blow loads of money on a fucking expensive ass phone. A cheap Nokia still gets the job done, who gives a fuck what other people think?

You should edit that song and have it as your ringtone....
"My BlackBerry's ringing, LIKE A BOSS!"

It was a rhetorical question.
Because they are some valuable device unlike the gimmicky overpriced piece of crap Iphone

You're just jealous cause you can't afford one :q:
There were a couple reasons why I got rid of it. One being it lacked PDF support. I could not download and view a PDF file. I had to buy software to do it.
The other reason is that it lacked good programs and the browswer, even Opera Mobile was a bit limited.
However, I loved it because it was so easy to use and do everything. The menu system is stupendous, and if you turn off bluetooth, the battery lasts so damn long. I surfed the web for about 3 hours and the battery barely drained.
I had the Curve if anyone is wondering.
It's not gimicky, and app can be installed with out it being verified by RIM, it's one of the most secure phones in the world.
The SDK is rather annoying - the default UI widgets look like total turd. It's all smooth-sailing Java, though :scax:

Well would you rage at me? My dad gave me his Blackberry smartphone for free because his company got newer models.
Because Blackberry loves U2

It's so they can be totally cool by being able to look at naked ladies on their phone in school

Java. Smooth.
You should add some sarcasm emotes there, anyone who hasn't coded Java might think you were serious.
The apps and the insane overprice.
Oh and the tagged on 40 bucks a month that nobody tells you about
With Verizon that's how it is.
I simply went with the EnV Touch. Unlike the other EnV phones it doesn't completely suck and break within a week.

I'm a net junkie, i spend something like 40% of my time thats not on the computer on it on the internet.... or texting.
But it's main appeal was the fact it had a full keyboard, and for the most part thats why most kids get them, there only like 99 bucks with a contract.
I remember in Japan that everyone had these huge-ass flip phones
I think I only saw one iPhone in two weeks of traveling

A retard could use it :downs:
And a jailbreak is awesome :q:
If you want a physical keyboard, then the blackberry is the thing for you. Iphone kicks its ass in any other aspect.
"Yes one of the the main reasons why the Blackberry Tour is so great is that it contains the best QWERTY keyboard on any Blackberry device to date. I just don't know how RIM keeps on improving on their phones every year, but they do it."
What the fuck is so good about it?
