that actually looks really fun
This looks amazing and I google'd it to find out more info. http://www.borderwar.cz/sites/ I wish I was able to participate in something like this. Makes me really wanna get into airsoft guns now
damn it looks like there's a lot of responsibility to call hits here more than ever
Large scale airsoft milsims are pretty much the best. I want to go to one someday. Some people might think people would get hit and just ignore it but in all the videos I have seen everyone plays by the rules pretty much. Reminds me of the paintball event in the USA about D-Day. I watched the movie on Netflix. http://www.soldiersofpaint.com/
Sucks that Australia prohibits any form of airsoft whatsoever.

He should set the camera focus to manual and then set it and forget it.
I use to play at this level regularly (Not 1000 people, but same equipment and still pretty large). It is a really amazing experience when you get say like a abandoned factory complex in Texas to play in. The only downsides is when you start playing with the military wannabees that are usually fatasses that take themselves and the hobby way too seriously. Normally every hobby has this, but it usually doesn't entail a sense of authority a person shouldn't have.
IFAP where u at
A video just like this actually inspired me to buy an airsoft sniper way back in the day. I still have it in my closet. It's a lot of fun to play as a sniper with a bolt action.

If you're really wanting to get into airsoft, an AEG (automatic electric gun) is the place to start.
Yah, the guy is extremely lucky to have his sniper rifle the way he has and that the people he play with aren't tools. It is really common to watch the sniper guys fail because some people in airsoft will wear ridiculous 15 magazine pouch carriers that basically make it so you never feel anything in the front.

I never saw the appeal of airsoft over paintball aside from maybe that its cheaper.
I never saw the appeal of airsoft over paintball aside from maybe that its cheaper.
I think one thing is that its easier to make replica guns in airsoft because of the much smaller barrel diameter and easier feed mechanism, and also you can wear things like plate carriers and uniforms without having to wash them after every battle. Also things that are hard to wash like radios or other electronics. Its easier to use immersive equipment I guess.
It's always awesome to see these kinds of vids. I'm surprised I never look for them despite how interesting I find them
That village scene almost seemed like NPC's and sidequests
The shot at 05:00 is beautiful.
A classmate wants me to join his airsoft group where they gather about 100 people and play. Looks pretty fun but I'm not sure if it is such a good idea to have me running around with a gun, I'm of middle-eastern descent and in Sweden the airsoft guns don't even need orange barrels or anything apparently. So if somebody sees a hairy brown person running with a gun the police would come down on me pretty quick. :v:
all that walking back when you die, jesus christ i wouldn't stand that it does give you a sense of not wanting to die though i guess gonna buy more guns when stocks fill up, i just like to play with them :v:

The best way to win an event like this is to get a riot shield hahaha
"It was hard to focus on the game"
I participated in something like this but it was for paintball instead of airsoft. Really similar premise, big huge area (not as big as this) with about 100 people participating. I just sorta stayed in one spot and counted out how many times I heard other people yell "HIT" so then I could move out when I knew nobody was really left.

Just watch a Milsim West video.
