"Wait, the Game Boy Color? Indeed! Let's look at Metal Gear: Ghost Babel!" "The night's calling, Snake. Answer the codec. It's Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP!" That's right, two separate reviews for each game! Why? Don't really know. Probably just done to make each review of both games easier to absorb, I guess. Edited: Oops, almost forgot! ghost babel seems like one of the better mgs games weird
ghost babel seems like one of the better mgs games weird
It's okay. It's basically a reskinned version of MGS1's story with MG's gameplay. What exactly are the bad MGS games though?
Metal Gear Solid: Mobile.
you mean that game to look like MGS 1 put on the cell phone I have been trying to get that game for a while now,.

I didn't even realize MGS: Mobile was a thing. But tbh I always felt like the mobile spin-offs never counted. It's like talking about the "lesser TES games" and then bringing up all those weird mobile spin-offs.
thats a pretty bad comparison too, seeing as a few of the mobile games are pretty plot relevant if you dig into em
Yeah, Portable Ops is pretty much the game that sets into stone beyond a loose implication in MGS3 that [sp]Zero and the FOX unit, and Big Boss, Eva and Ocelot would form the Patriots[/sp] two years before MGS4 hit the fanbase with the revelation, even if it was all the way at the end of POOPS and all. Then Peace Walker not only tried to ignore POOPS beyond a single reference at the beginning of the game, but also acted as much as possible like that twist in both of the preceding games was as subdued as they could potentially make it so it still seems like a surprise to those that play PW without knowledge of the preceding games.
