The Rochester Post-Bulletin reports the shooting happened early Sunday at the Lansing Corners supper club, a local landmark and one-time diner near Austin that is now an events center.
The names of the injured were not immediately released. Officials said a Rochester resident and a Sioux Falls, S.D., resident were critically hurt with gunshot wounds to the chest. The others had injuries that were not life-threatening.
Investigators were trying to figure out what happened. There have been no arrests, and gang activity was not being ruled out.
"We don't know at this point (what caused the shootings)," Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said. "We don't know if it's gang-related or what the case may be. We do know that several victims are not cooperating, and witnesses at the scene didn't see anything. So that's very frustrating."
Officials said there were at least two guns involved.
Dustin Plank and his wife, Brittany, live two houses away from Lansing Corners. They were watching television in bed when they heard gunshots.
Dustin Plank said he opened the door and saw people screaming and yelling, and cars peeling out of the parking lot "like there was no tomorrow."
"It was like people were freaking out," said Brittany Plank. "We were, like, terrified, because we had no idea what was going on."
Amazi said the shooting victims were taken to Mayo Health Systems in Austin, and then transferred to Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
The supper club, at the corner of U.S. Highway 218 and Mower County Road 2, is a landmark that has been in the area north of downtown Austin for 70 years. It hosts weddings, wine-tastings and other events.
Maybe in LA, but not rural Minnesota.

Even so.
I swear it seems like everything is going down in Minnesota lately.

Huh?
Huh?
I assume they mean that the witnesses didn't see anything pertinent to the investigation.
Just like when you were in High School and you didn't see the fight that happened until the very end, or didn't see it at all, you just happened to be in the same room. Technically, you were a witness, even though you didn't see anything that is helpful enough to answer any questions.
Interchange the well-lit school for a dark parking lot that has a bunch of cars in the way of your vision, and factor in the very short time frame in which this probably happened, and you have yourself a bunch of witnesses, who, for all intents and purposes, saw nothing.
Talked to my buddy, apparently it happened in a town over called lancing. Some guy from Nebraska came down to play and they wouldn't let him so he shot the place up. What the fuck.
Maybe Nebraska hip hop just isn't up to the standards of Minnesota hip hop?

So they know who did the shooting?

Because the article is saying otherwise, and it mentions two guns

Journalists knowing something, and people involved with the crime knowing something are two separate things. Also, what kind of person do you think tries to play on any kind of professional level and doesn't carry a gun?
It seems to me that this guy who was trying to get in on the action lit up, and someone else pulled a gun.
Huh?
also because witness statements are terribly inaccurate

They don't know who the person is per say, but the do know it was the guy from Nebraska who started the shit. He may have had a buddy or something with him who could have been the second gun.
