At least two women were murdered by their family members in the latest wave of honour killings in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan. According to local security officials, the two women were murdered by their relatives in Pashtun Kot and Bulcharagh districts late on Sunday night. The officials further added that the woman in Pashtun Kot district had married with another man by divorcing her first husband, which is believed to be the main reason behind her murder. The provincial criminal investigation department chief Gen. Sarbuland Hasham said the woman who was believed to be 38-year-old, was shot dead by her relatives. Sarbul and further added that the second was strangled to death by her husband since she had not given birth to a child despite a year had passed from their marriage. He said the perpetrators behind the two murders have been arrested by police and are in custody for further investigation.
Source: http://www.khaama.com/two-women-murdered-for-honor-in-northern-faryab-province-9010

is the middle east just full of murderers?? goddamn.
Oh hey it's the middle ages again.
Welcome to the Middle East
Sharia governance is taking the world's most embarrassing penis size complex and making it a way of life.
how is this her fault
The extremists even consider neckbeards to be the only acceptable facial hair.
What if it is utterly proven that the man himself was impotent? Is there some sort of honor-bound tradition for that?
Saudi Arabia, where I lived for six years of my life, once deported a Muslim man because he was 'too handsome'. I wish I was kidding. They did this less than five years ago. Fellahs. If you're worried that your wife might leave you to chase after a pretty face, you've got bigger problems than your micropenis. Or hey, maybe it's related. She needs a man who can satisfy her, after all. And if you're so worried, you know damn well you aren't.

He was deemed too handsome and indeed "too likely to tempt women to commit sins" with his mere presence. Why is it that everyone in the Middle East is deemed to, by some unanimous vote, to be completely incapable of simple self-restraint and not rape/commit adultery and "sin" with everything that walks. And it's somehow always the woman's fault too. Either they sin or they provoke being sinned upon (nope, men don't sin, the women sin themselves WITH the men when raped). I do not understand how this kind of society is still not in tatters.

I mean, assuming the polls are true and over 50% of US citizens actually don't believe in evolution, the US's industry, likewise, can explain why it hasn't all come crashing down.
