BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2012 - 23rd - 24th June 2012 - General

Leona Lewis, Plan B and Professor Green are confirmed as acts so far. The massive event will replace Radio 1's annual Big Weekend festival in 2012 and, as with the Big Weekend, the majority of tickets will go to people living in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs.[/quote] The 2011 Big Weekend was held in Carlisle (18 miles down the road from me) and although tickets were handed to locals i never managed to get one, mostly due to everyone using about 5 - 6 different e-mail addresses. However im hoping i will be in with the chance for Hackney if there is an extra 60,000 tickets up for grabs this time. Last year was in my home town and I live 5 minutes away from where it was and didn't get tickets...
