UPDATED: A soldier from west Sweden says he was stabbed by two Isis fighters in the first attack by the extremist Islamist group on Swedish soil, but the region's chief police commissioner has told The Local there is no evidence to back up his claims. The man, who is based with the Trängregementet unit in Skövde in west Sweden, told police that two men attacked him with a knife in the town of Skara in west Sweden last week after they spotted him wearing his army uniform in a convenience store and then followed him on a moped. He described his alleged attackers as having long black beards and said they had spoken in broken Swedish, with one saying "you will be the first victim of IS in Sweden" before stabbing him in the stomach. The soldier also reported hearing one of the alleged Isis fighters shouting "Allah" and "you will die you infidel bastard". He also showed police a hole in his T-shirt which he said had been made by the attackers and said that small wounds on his stomach were a result of the violence. Isis (also known as IS or the Islamic State) is believed to have a growing presence in west Sweden, following reports that a number of Swedes have been recruited from the region and travelled to the Middle East to fight alongside the extremists. But police told The Local on Wednesday that they had found no evidence to back up the victim's claims. "Nobody can explain his story," said Thord Haraldsson, chief commissioner for serious crimes in the region. "We spoke to a lot of people [in the area] and nobody can verify what he said happened." According to Sweden's Expressen tabloid, which first broke the story, one woman even said she had been sunbathing close to where the alleged attack took place, and did not spot anything suspicious taking place. Medical experts who examined the man's clothes and stomach suggested that his wounds could have been self inflicted.
http://www.thelocal.se/20150819/soldier-fakes-first-isis-attack-in-sweden 10/10 story. 1/10 false flag.
Police decided to share the details of their preliminary investigation after the soldier started posting information about the alleged attack on social media, which they became concerned was whipping up an unsettling atmosphere, Expressen reported.
Remember, when involved in a terrorism investigation, make sure you leak as much info as possible to social media instead of giving it to authorities to deal with covertly. Whip up as much anger as possible, it makes justice work faster. I think a stomach wound is the perfect reward for trying to incite anti-immigrant hatred/action. Any other hate-filled idiots in Sweden who want to go ahead and stab themselves, please feel free. If you're a reasonable person don't stab yourself pls and thx. Don't stab anyone.
Well someone's eager to fight ISIS.
This has not been unproven. So the case still stands.
This has not been unproven. So the case still stands.
no it's literally the exact opposite, something needs to be proven not unproven wtf
Well someone's eager to fight ISIS.
Yet he only ended up fighting himself. I mean his heart's vaguely in the right place but this is really not the way to go about it.
no it's literally the exact opposite, something needs to be proven not unproven wtf
No they mean neither story has been proven.
I don't think faking a terrorist attack by stabbing yourself to prompt nationalist reaction and escalating a delicate religious and social conflict is the right place.
I don't either. I was referring to him trying to raise support for stemming the flow of ISIS recruits.
What's with Sweden and faking terrorist attacks recently? First the school shooting (that was Sweden right?) and now this. Are you guys really that bored?
