The toaster from his other tutorial is in the passenger seat.

I was almost certain he would've used it as the mouse as soon as I noticed it- it even matches the car.
I like the .cpp plate :v:
he's like a buff rivers cuomo
impresive, now lets try carmageddon
This kind of thing gets me thinking of the outlandish computerized stuff you could potentially run DOOM on. A modern fridge? A vending machine? An AC unit? If someone dedicated a youtube channel to this kind of thing I'd definitely subscribe. Call it "Things That Shouldn't Run Doom"

My watch can run Half-Life, probably DOOM too
It's not a Youtube channel but I guess I found the next best thing:

SMBC speaking truth once again.
Xash3d?
Yup. Someone even added Google Cardboard support so you can play it in mobile VR
that's a controller i wouldn't mind having
Playing that game parked would make me cry just thinking about all that dry steering.
I wonder if a Tesla could run DOOM 2016. It definitely has the GPU power (it's using two Titans for the Autopilot 2.0).

I think the best part about this is thinking about the engineers thinking "Yeah that's great and all but what if someone wants to play Doom on it?"
How long until computers are fast enough that we can run Witcher 3 on a literal toaster?

Wish there was a gearvr version, 2 full box for image wont fit on it.
Maybe you can run doom 3 on it too. And descent freespace 2.
Ah yes, my Porsche 911.
Since cars these days have USB ports I'm wondering if it would be possible to connect a controller so the passenger can play a game while you drive around. It'd be totally useless but a neat novelty thing
It would be nice if it actually worked like this. Sadly it doesn't.

Since those ports are usually only used for firmware upgrades, they probably only recognize mass storage devices only.
