Twenty-one-year-old Woodrow Carmack was being held Monday on bond of more than $650,000.
The Hagerstown Herald-Mail reports that Hagerstown police responded Saturday night to a call about a man in Army fatigues walking and carrying a large duffel bag containing an assault rifle.
They arrested Carmack after a foot chase. In the bag, police found a loaded AK-47, more than 100 rounds of ammunition and a large knife.
They say Carmack later told medical workers he planned to shoot people.
Police say Carmack escaped from Bucks County, Pa. He was sentenced in February to nine-to-23 months for aggravated assault, weapon possession and making terroristic threats.

It's funny because it's likely that either:
A. It's not an AK-47 but the Media doesn't know the difference. This happens ALL THE TIME.

B. It's an AK variant but not an AK-47 which are pretty fucking rare if you don't live in Africa or Prior-Soviet States plagued with Internal Conflicts. For example, they're most likely AKM or AK-74 variants.
