Just a couple of shots from today. I haven't expected much from the title but indeed those shots are pretty good (except for the 2nd).
Any comments on what I could improve on? Compositionally/tonally?
The 2nd and 3rd shots aren't taken from interesting angles, the other two are nice though.
I think the 2nd shot could be improved by a slightly better angle, maybe if you'd taken the shot at a very low angle, and just of the puddle and pavement behind it. The third, maybe if you didn't have those 2 parked cars at the bottom would be better. They're kind of in the foreground, and distract from what you were actually focusing on. I think shots 1 and 4 are amazing.
Great job. If the first one was larger I would use it as my desktop background.
I love the first and the last one too. At first I thought the last one was a puddle on a cracked road, and I was wondering if that was intentional or not?

Very big, like, as big as my arms spread wide.

I've had the car-comment a couple of times about that third. I'm going to spend some time re-cropping it today and see how it turns out. In Lightroom I darkened that lower section to reduce the contrast and reduce it's visual importance. The room was pretty bright though so I didn't really get a clear idea of how light and commanding the area still was. I kind of like that opening ambiguity. [editline]11:23AM[/editline]
Very big, like, as big as my arms spread wide.
I hope your arms are 3000px long because the image is. I only like the first photo. None of the others are interesting in my opinion. T The third photo is nice to look at though.
