words cannot describe the crazyness of this game. Completely random, slightly unsettling, fucking indescribable.
LSD: Dream Emulator is a video game released in Japan in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation video game console and is one of three products (the others being a music CD and a book) based on Lovely Sweet Dream, a dream journal that Hiroko Nishikawa, a staff member at Asmik Ace Entertainment, had been keeping for a decade. It has earned itself a small cult following due to the generally disturbing nature of the game and its content.
just holy shit.
I played that a while ago, i could not understand what to do and i could not progress at all.
Yea I didn't like it cause i never understand what to do
it really is just an experience kind of game. Its just something you fuck around with here and there, no real objective (i think you have to go through a certain number of days or something like that).
It reminds me of an extended version of some of the personal mental trips and mindfucks you can get on strong doses of acid
Is there any way for me to get my hands on this game.. FOR FREE!?
"After roughly 20 days of gameplay, a new option will appear in the main menu, called "Flashback". This mode lasts for only around 3 to 5 minutes versus the main game's 10. Flashback's purpose is to revisit locales and characters from past dreams. Due to the heavily random nature of the game, Flashback mode is often the only way to see an area with the same textures twice. Taking the same steps in Flashback as in the normal dream it is redoing will allow one to completely do over that dream." Sickkkk.
Damn I wish I still had my Playstation 1.
I've played this game several times. It's popped on Facepunch several times throughout the past few years.
It gets old rather quickly. I've already seen everything that occurs in the game.
I want to play it tripping though. Because it isn't scary sober (for me).
I've went past Day 100. It goes on continuously, this game doesn't have an objective.

If you dedicate enough time, you'll find it.
I remember I posted a hint on how to get it, but I got banned for it.
Check my event history, my last ban was it. The post is still there.
Played it. Hell, I made a thread for it a few years ago.
I heard the objective is to reach 365 dreams
Someone needs to remake this game holy fuck.
I would love to try it. Looks fucking beast.
Simple solution:
-Buy a copy off Amazon along with a Japanese Playstation 1 (they'll be Japan region locked but that's alright)
-Go to emuparadise and find the ISO (it's legal, you own the physical copy, remember?)
-Set up a PSX emulator with the specific PSX BIOS to the Japanese PS1 that you physically own
-Play the game legally
remember, don't skip the buying part! if you don't own both the game and the playstation it's warez!!!!

I must also mention that this method is only legal in the United States.
There should be a more modern remake of this for shits n giggles - pooling together a lot of freaky models isn't too hard when people contribute ( Doesn't have to be a lot better graphically either, just a lot more accessible than this)
They've got it on PSN Japan as a PS1 classic....they need to put it on the Worldwide PSN.
I have a PS1 underneath the desk I'm typing this on. Can I buy this game somewhere? Better yet, some actual LSD
both: internet
