Well, it was USED by another person. What did he expect?
Final fuckingly.
They paid me 5 bucks for 3 singstar games with everything in it. :smith:
Even though the used price seemed expensive.
FUCKING GAMESTOP
caps
Gamestop didn't make the box. It's not really their fault.

People will sue for anything these days.
That guy didn't even read it. It says DLC with full retail purchase.
Gamestop has no control over what a company does with its products outside their stores. They can't say "Hey, you need to change your systems to accommodate OUR customers." They have basic policies for products and that's it. They can't adapt their policy for every single release. If something goes wrong because of a problem with the publisher or developer, that isn't there fault, bitch out one of them. I'm not gonna sue Walmart because I bought a microwave and it blew up. Its not their fault. Its just killing the messenger.
This guy needs to go blow himself.
Now, looking at my own copy of Dragon Age: Origins and the copy of a cover seen above, it looks quite apparent that the fine print clearly says that the free DLC is available with a "full retail purchase." Unless GameStop added their own stickers to the box art, it doesn't immediately appear there's any basis for a lawsuit here.
No really?
Doesn't deserve a lawsuit but they really need to make exceptions to that seven day return thing especially in a situation like this.

Most people will open the game before seven days is up.
Well it is his own fault for assuming that. But then again Gamestop can be tricky if you don't watch out or do your research. Plus i don't support buying used games anymore, none of that money goes to the devs. That is why DLC can be absolutely ridiculous, they use that to keep revenue up so they don't lose as much.

Buying a used game is classified as a Retail purchase. How do you define a FULL RETAIL purchase? It comes with the game, manual and case (and anything that belongs to the case)? that would be considered a full retail purchase.
Retail is defined as : The sale of goods or commodities in small quantities directly to consumers.
Personally i think the lawsuit is a bit far, but at least game stores will have more upfront policies and explain what you get with used products before you buy.
Well thanks to digital distribution, brick and mortar game stores are on their way out anyway.
it just cost too much to make and ship boxed copies of games nowadays.
How do you define a FULL RETAIL purchase?/QUOTE]
buying it at full retail price, and since used games are cheaper that's not full price.
I've always hated the way Gamestop has been. Pikmin 2 is still forty goddamn dollars. Also I saw a used copy of Left 4 Dead 2 on their PC games shelves once.

They were selling L4D2 for 30 bucks and I told them it was 50.
Fucking GameStop wants my steam banned.
Someone's not keeping up with the DLC trends.
Online gamestop told me that if I preordered prototype a while back I would get the figure and some other free shit. I never did.
