If you apply for a school transfer and it's accepted, are you then required to go?

Or can you choose to not transfer? Does it work like college applications? Help me out, FP. :saddowns:
I would think that it would vary from school to school. Check with the school, maybe e-mail them, but I wouldn't think you'd have to accept it. It might be good to double check before doing anything though.
I would think so...
No one can force you to go to any school. Maybe people apply to multiple schools and get accepted to multiple ones. They do this in case the one school they're hoping for doesn't accept them for some reason, and so they have back ups to attend.
Do you mean like an exchange program or what? All I know is my school got some kid from the UK this year. (Some how I remember seeing a thread last summer about someone going to the US from the UK as an exchange student. If anyone knows who it was, let me know.)
call your local dept of education
I wouldn't think so. Not like they can go grab you and make you attend. I would think you would be allowed to change your mind or something.
