Yup, Sylvester is at it again. He's planning on making another Rambo movie. Here's some info on it.
Rambo 5 Earlier this week Nu Image/Millennium Films officially announced that Sylvester Stallone’s next pic (after he completes The Expendables) would be a fifth Rambo movie. Naturally I didn’t report the news on Sci Fi Scoop because clearly Rambo isn’t a sci-fi franchise. Well, it hasn’t been until now…yes, that’s right, Rambo V: The Savage Hunt is going sci-fi! AICN are reporting that Sylvester Stallone has confirmed exclusively to them that Rambo V will be set in the Pacific Northwest, roughly the same area where the first Rambo film, the awesome First Blood, took place. The story follows a U.S. Military installation that is doing experiments on elite soldiers as part of a program to create enhanced savage soldiers that have no hesitation in killing. The experiments succeed but obviously go bad, unleashing a group of these enhanced, remorseless super soldiers. Rambo is then brought in with a Black Ops squad to hunt, capture and kill these “worse than Rambo” savage killers. I’ve always loved Rambo films and the idea that John Rambo will be hunting super-powerful-elite-remorseless-savage killers, rather than being the one who is hunted, works for me. It’s kind of like Rambo hunting Universal Soldiers. Cool.
Super soldiers?! This seems like it will flop hard. I have mixed feelings about this.
That poster looks like a fan who only knows how to cut and paste made it.
That poster looks like a fan who only knows how to cut and paste made it.
And I bet the artist who did it walked away with $5,000.
He looks old and tired
