One of my friends (Had a past with) went to her counselor today because she was depressed. Eventually the conversation went from anti-depressants to masturbation. She has strong feelings for me and one day I told her I used to (Haah. Used too?) Look at porn, She told her counselor that because it bothered her. The dumbfuck counselor said that once a guy looks at porn he only thinks of woman for their body. Facepunch, do you think once a guy looks at pornography the only thing us men care about is the womans body, and not her feelings or emotions? The thing is, She is believing everything he says. And now she thinks I only care about her because she used to send me nudes, and that I only care about her for her body even though I have helped with so many problems.

If you never interact with women, especially on an intimate level, then yes, watching porn will change how you view women (or it will just validate your already-disturbed perspective about sexuality and women).

But hopefully, that's something no one will ever have to think about.

If you can get yourself in a good relationship, you will forget about porn. Before, I used to get into that stuff often, but I got myself an amazing girlfriend four months ago. I literally stopped watching that stuff considerably less since then. Porn is all about a physical aspect, which is really what it is; two people meet, they screw each other and then they get paid for it. A relationship is about an emotional and a physical aspect, but moreso towards emotional and developing a strong bond with your partner for the long run. Porn is mindless, and relationships need work.
