Building on the success of the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto III in 2001, the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on October 29, 2002 pushed the open world game series deeper into popular culture with a vibrant over-the-top take on Miami, a stunning celebrity voice cast and a loving, satirical look at the cultural excesses of the ‘80s.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, there will be a series of commemorative assets released, including never-before-seen artwork and a brand new anniversary trailer highlighting some of the most iconic scenes and music from the game. In addition, a limited run of collectable promotional items will be made available for purchase through the Rockstar Warehouse, with select items also available via online giveaways.
In conjunction with the anniversary, we're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing an Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for select iOS and Android devices later this fall. This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead including a list of compatible iOS and Android devices.

Fuck yes. Vice City is one of my favorite GTAs, along with San Andreas.
Vice City is one of my favorite GTAs, along with all the others.
It's like Rockstar is teasing everyone by not releasing SA.

It's not the 10th anniversary of SA
Seems like I might have to enter this decade already and get a smart phone.
Wow 10 years already?!
I feel old
Fuck, I thought it was Rockstar giving a new batch of information on "GTA Vice city.."
Will be waiting for GTA4's 10th anniversary.

Just wait a month:

Personally, Vice City was the best GTA game. No, it wasn't as interactive(?) in terms of being able to stylize things to your liking such as your character and cars in SA, but the environment was incredible. The lighting, the cities, the style and the music were just great. I thought it was really fun and had as much replay/screw around value as the newer games. It was just an overall great game.
This sounds awesome, but I found it difficult to get over the controls for the GTAIII Android version.
I very much hope we get another Your Questions Answered thing, that was awesome and more important than the phone port to me
Vice City was my least liked GTA game released after 3, with SA being my favourite
To be honest I've only liked 3 and SA, not at all a fan of Vice City or 4.
I liked the concept of buying property in Vice City.
That fucking printing place thing on the second island, right at the exit of some bridge, that place brought in so much fucking money.
I need to get meself an android phone.
This seems awkward to control

Looks worse than it plays tbh, and you can always connect a PS3 controller if you have one (with bluetooth).

Nah, this is the order from best to worst:
Gta4
Gta VC
rest of GTAs
GTA SA
GTA SA would have been good but there were unnecessary elements like Swimming and Biking skills, like wtf is up with that shit?
Vice City is 10 fucking years old?
Man, this is a bigger shock than when I realized that the first Harry Potter movie came out 11 years ago.
My biggest shock was on my birthday when I realized that I came out 20 years ago!!!

"My opinion is the correct opinion"
If its anything like the GTAIII port (for iPhone that is) its going to be laggy and the controls are going to be bad and unresponsive. Although I'm sure some people will enjoy playing it, I certainly wont be one of them
Vice City is a great game, with a awesome soundtrack

Looking forward to being able to play it on the go.
Now give us San Andreas and I will totally buy an Android phone just for this

I loved using my Mountain Bike around the countryside. Mount Chiliad was awesome.
And swimming? Rockstar realised from the previous games that 'gangsters can't swim' is a pathetic excuse for one of the most frustrating gameplay elements in the history of gaming: having water as a punishment after having too much fun blowing everything up.

Yes, just wait until 2018 and by then we will all have quad-core phones that run at 3GHz with 4GB of RAM and more than enough storage space to handle that 16GB of game files.
That's been a quick 10 years.
I was going to say they should update the PC version to run in widescreen, but then I remembered it already does
The GTA 3 series games had pretty good PC ports
