• What is wrong with my dog?

I have a 5 year old beagle named Snoopy. When ever I pet, or scartch his left hip, he arcs his lower back and hip to the left, and I have noticed this about a week ago, and he has no other health issues, besides being a little on the heavy side. Sometimes (it's random) when he is sitting, and I pet him there, he does nothing, other times when I do pet him there he looks back and starts to whimper a bit as if it's hurting him. If I pet him there when he is laying down he does nothing and continues to happily sleep. Snoopy doesn't have problems running, or jumping, or even simply walking, and he acts normal, but I'm sure there must be something wrong with him. Does anyone have any guesses what it could be.? Thanks for helping. (User was banned for this post ("wrong section" - GunFox))
Take him to the vet
Maybe he's gay. I'm not gay myself!
Don't ask Facepunch for veterinary advice.
The problem is that his owner is a complete idiot who does not understand basic dog behaviour. They are not fucking potplants, on ocassion, they do shit.
I think he actually likes it.. don't most dogs love it when you scratch them there?
Keep it away from furries.
He's going to die.
If you think you're hurting him when you pet him in a particular stop then maybe he has an injury there or something?
eat him and mail his bones to peta
Go ask someone who actually knows instead and cares
11 post and 10 of them are completely fucking stupid If you think he's hurting, Tell your parents. Maybe he's just bruised there. If it continues after a couple of days, then you should take him to the vet.
Put him down. Its the only way
Dogs lean when you scratch. Nothing new. Edit: He's probably just mad you named him Snoopy.
Maybe he's gay. I'm not gay myself!
Thou dos't protest too much.
Maybe he doesn't like you petting him.
My dog is having an issue with his water bowl, he's been refusing to drink out of it when it's just on the floor, yet if you just pour it on the floor he'll drink it up, this started like a few days ago, before that he'd drink out of it like normal, when I pick it up off the floor and hold it for him he'll drink out of it and when I push him over to it he'll tense up like he's afraid of it. We're all refusing to hold it for him in hopes that maybe he'll start drinking out of it himself(so he's only approached it and laid down by it), so whenever I come in with a cup of water he gives me those adorable eyes and I feel bad because of it. :( He's like 5 or 6 years old. [editline]01:02AM[/editline] and I just thought this was relevant because dogs dogs dogs
