this looks really good, even if it is just wandering around an empty map
It honestly looks like it would be an expansion to BF4 or something. Kind of like Vietnam for BFBC2.
This isn't worth £60 - beta or not.
Yes, obviously you can discern that from a leak of an unfinished game with a single person playing. Please, tell me how a movie will be from a 15 second teaser trailer too

Yeah, I'm quite disappointed by this. It seems like there's an emphasis on the lethal side of law enforcement. Personally, I'd find it a lot more fun to have either purely non-lethal weapons for the cops, or have them with pistols as their only lethal weapon. I think there'd be something satisfying about flashbanging a room full of crooks, running in and tasering/bean-bagging/handcuffing them. Of course the movement and weapon handling would have to be altered, as that type of game play would be unlikely with the run and gun typical of the Battlefield games.

Was battlefield 4?
Was battlefield 4?
Worst purchase of my life EDIT: well it isn't really - i really love battlefield 4 but it just has some issues that really need to be fleshed out - i can't find myself having fun when there is nothing but snipers picking you off everytime you spawn. I really enjoy it but I still don't think it justifies for £60

Is it using the same engine? The one that is having all the issues? If so then yeah, I can say it's going to be bad.

That's the joke; Battlefield 4 was shit, but they might make this one good, you never know.
I will laugh when they inevitably announce the Premium membership for this game.

I paid half price, so I've got no complaints about the game's current state.
Judging by the gameplay footage it's safe to say that is an accurate representation of Downtown LA

Then why is the 4 your avatar?

Maybe he likes the animation?
maybe 4 is his favorite number
That car chase game mode sounds like the only thing interesting and unique. The rest just looks like a reskinned BF4
It might be because it's a beta, but honestly this doesn't even look like full standalone expansion quality yet. It looks like a Battlefield 4 mod.
Is the loading screen seriously 2 minutes long?

Then you could just as easily play Tactical Intervention.

This looks awful, I hope that's a WIP
Looks exactly like bf4 like I mean couldn't they release this as DLC or something lol

the only real resemblance to bf4 or 3 is the gameplay design and ui elements. this looks like payday 2 more than bf4 - if payday 2 had larger maps, vehicles and 2 playable teams.
My passing roommate asked why I was looking at some guy walking around randomly in BF4.
I'm sorta interested, but this just seems like payday without any heists. Not really seeing what they're going for here.
That loading screen is so fucking cheesy. My god.
Jesus, what is this, the fucking Spetsnaz? I mean, I've waited for a sequel for SWAT 4 for a goddamned long time, and part of me was hoping this would be a spiritual successor, but I guess not. Yeah, war games are fun to play, but for a police game I want it to be a game where I can take people out in a non-lethal fashion if I can, or where a team of guys acts in a surgical fashion, like the original Rainbow 6 games.
Is this their response to CoD: Advanced Warfare? They had the perfect chance to make BF2144 and they made Battlefield: Police Warfare instead.
"All units return that cash to police custody"
That sounds incredibly unnatural.

Why were you expecting a slow, highly tactical game from a developer who is known to make faster, team based FPS games?
The closest game this really has is the CS series, they're both basically military-esque cops vs. robbers scenarios. It's maybe a bit comparable to Payday if you're playing on the robbers side, but most of your time is going to be taken up stopping to po-po, not robbing the joint.
