Watch with caution.
Please note: This is a full uncut version of the video primarily intended for research purposes. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rXPrf... for a short and concise version with added context. ---- Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on http://collateralmurder.com
By the way, that was a camera tripod, not an RPG.
:haw:
teenagers with guns [editline]01:27PM[/editline] the US army, I mean
Wow what the fucking fuck.
It's okay that they kill a threat but they seem to be enjoying it. It's kind of sick, but I guess I might be a pussy or something.
mmmm exploding bodies.
"Come on, let us shoot!" I don't get it, why would they want to take a life?
Wow these guys are fucking retarded. I can understand doing this because it's your job but enjoy it like this is pretty sick.
I dunno how bad these guys (the ones they are shooting) are though. They were like "Come on pick up a weapon so I can shoot!"
I guess it's a way of coping... still.
light those fuckers up [editline]01:43PM[/editline] i don't see what was wrong with it, they did have weapons
"One wounded child" "Oh damn. Ah well" What the fuck, seriously?
"We have an Suv bongo truck picking up the bodi-" "Fuck" I lol'd.
light those fuckers up [editline]01:43PM[/editline] i don't see what was wrong with it, they did have weapons
IT's the way that these guys are enjoying it. I can understand "Oh they have weapons we have to eliminate them but these guys were just looking for reasons to engage them.
light those fuckers up [editline]01:43PM[/editline] i don't see what was wrong with it, they did have weapons
Where? I never saw any.
"One wounded child" "Oh damn. Ah well" What the fuck, seriously?
"It's their fault for bringing their kids into a battle" "That's right" These guys are fucking sick in the head.
Where? I never saw any.
a few seconds before he lit up the first 8 civ's, about 4 or 5 were holding a dark object with a strap on it, which i assume were either guns, or just sticks with straps on them.
It reminds me of the part with the AC130 in CoD 4. They are so disconnected from the damage they're inflicting.
IT's the way that these guys are enjoying it. I can understand "Oh they have weapons we have to eliminate them but these guys were just looking for reasons to engage them.
who cares if they enjoy it, it is their job.
Cool.
a few seconds before he lit up the first 8 civ's, about 4 or 5 were holding a dark object with a strap on it, which i assume were either guns, or just sticks with straps on them.
They're carrying bags. If you read the quote under the video, you'd see that one of them is a journalist. I'd say it's probably safe to assume he was carrying a bag with, a laptop perhaps? However, that being said. This isn't an isolated incident. Civilians die in war. Most casualties of war are civilians. It's unfortunate. But this happens. Innocent people get mistaken for valid targets all the time (Or atleast, they did during the initial stage of the war and the insurgency. Not so much now).

Iraqi civilians Hearts and minds... splattered all over a street corner.
who cares if they enjoy it, it is their job.
Because once they stop doing it, I honestly think they'll be a danger to society because they will have grown accustomed to killing.
Where? I never saw any.
Yeah, I can't say I saw any weapons.
take that america. fuckin criminals
"It's their fault for bringing their kids into a battle" "That's right" These guys are fucking sick in the head.
No they're right, it is their fault for bringing a child into a war zone.
31:12 -> What the fuck. [editline]06:00PM[/editline]
No they're right, it is their fault for bringing a child into a war zone.
They fucking live there, goddamn.
I dunno how bad these guys (the ones they are shooting) are though. They were like "Come on pick up a weapon so I can shoot!"
When you hear about your men dying from people who are constantly portrayed as evil, you want to kill them. Although the people in the van were trying to be good and help them, they were putting them in risk to be shot at... I feel bad they died but worse shit has happened than this
Ignorance is bliss in this thread. As always when it comes to war footage.
