I wish Valve would make some sort of application on Android and iPhone to make it so we can chat to friends.
Yeah, next thing you know they're going to come out with full blown Steam smart phones.
That would be kicking rad
Once again Valve never cease to amaze us.

I'd buy one.
A steam powered smart phone sounds large and unusable.
:rimshot:
I just want to be able to use the chat without having the program on
Another thing steam should do.
When I'm removing groups. Make it so I can remove multiple groups like I can remove multiple friends. It's annoying to remove a group *Quick refresh". Remove another *Quick refresh*
Took me like 10 minutes to remove 80 groups when it should of only tooken like 3 - 4 mins.
mm sounds pretty cool but I expected different things
The more Steam, the better!
All I want steam to do is download games without suspending them every five seconds.
Good to see that Steam is evolving every day.
A Steam chat program for mobile platforms would be kinda useful.
I really want Steam to start offering movies and shit. Obviously that would mean competition for iTunes, but that would mean lower prices and shit as well as having all my multimedia on one library.
It'd also be rad because I could watch movies on any computer as opposed to having my library sync with only 1 PC.
So will TV support be similar to that OnLive box, except with Steam in it instead, or is just an update to plug your computer into a tv, I wonder?(because I already have no problem playing steam games on my TV)
This sounds brilliant and cant wait for it!

I am sort of hoping for that but seems unlikely. Still awesome.
Cant wait.
Steam approach to DRM: Access your content wherever you're hooked up to the internet! Have fun guys! Please don't pirate our stuff cause we give you awesome features if you don't!
Apple approach to DRM: ACCESS YOUR CONTENT ON 5 COMPUTERS NO MORE NO LESS YOU FILTHY PIRATE. WE KNOW YOU'RE A PIRATE WE JUST CAN'T PROVE IT YET SCUM.
Exactly. It'd be so awesome to buy a film on Steam and then roll out to a friend's house and watch it pretty much instantly. With iTunes you are pretty much fucked if you want to do that. In my opinion that's what leads to more piracy.
As long as Valve doesn't start selling out to consoles, I'm fine with this.
Dont sell out and keep Steam free and its a win in my book.
Steam chat for android now
How fucking awesome would it be if you could access your steam library through a PS3. Shame it would never happen because Sony see it as a threat to sales rather then a boost.
Think about it, the PS3 would be able to not only play games, but Blu-Ray movies, AND PC games. If I didn't already have one I would snag one the second that that would be announced and I am sure quite a few other people would too.

How would this work? x86 and CELL are not compatible and Windows and XMB are not compatible either.
Steam for Linux now? :(

If they are looking to have Steam on your TV set, I don't think Valve cares much about removing multiple groups.
Steam for Linux now? :(
What's Linux? :downs:
A Steam console would be the best thing ever.
Steam will probably arrive on my 386 sooner than Linux.
Valve should make a network video streaming device so you can stream your Steam games directly to your TV via your home network. Kinda like Onlive but with less latency and better quality because it's local.
Exactly. If you pirate a film on the internet, you get it to keep, store, take round a friend's house, and you got it for free.
If you purchase a film on the internet, it's restricted massively, you can only have it on a few computers and you had to pay money.
There is literally no incentive apart from moral obligation not to pirate the film. That's why the steam method is so effective.
If you bought the film, but it was available on any computer, you can talk to friends about it, comment on each others' films and reccomend films to each other all within the same online interface, that's an incentive not to pirate it.
Music used to have DRM, but they dropped that shit. Movies and eventually games have to do it eventually... I guess...
