This would be his first video on the project. This would be the latest. Don't know if this has already been posted but I couldn't find a single thread about it on this board so I decided to go ahead and go through with it. Wow, just wow. This guy manages to dwarf everything I've done in my life in single project with just a team of him, a few power tools and some mathematics. Really is something. And he seems like somebody you'd like to be friends with. His humor is light and never ever seems to get red faced over a mistake. He also owns his own website. Some of his older projects can be found here along with some other content he's managed to pull out throughout the years: http://jamius.com/
I started crying at 7:55 because he hurt that poor tree.
This guy is my new hero.
That's really cool how he just made his own workshop. That's true dedication right there.
This guy looks like he's on 50 cups of coffee.
http://www.youtube.com/user/JMEMantzel Channel with all the parts (over 50 I think).
This guy has created a new measurement of bad ass. He's a bit awkward socially, but makes up for it in genius. Or what I think is genius.
He's actually pretty funny in his own way.
newest video
I like him
he sounds like hes pretty high
This guys a true man, making everything by hand. I have a great magnitude of respect for this guy.
Guy living in the woods building giant robot spiders. Everything is normal here. Move along. But really this is really cool. I wish I had the time, patience, and experience to build robots.
Anything he can't do?
What the hell? He just lives in the woods with no power? This guy is a certified badass.
solar power + generators he's just not connected to the grid
This is the guy who would make an awesome uncle.
Does he have a laptop + internet stick or what?
This is fucking amazing.
4:02 :v: This guy is awesome. I must now meet this guy, it shall be my pilgrimage and rite of passage to manhood.
This guy is awesome. He needs a huge road so he makes one with a pickaxe, shovel and his bare hands.
Awesome.
Real life minecraft :O
Is he using chains as bracelets? Fucking badass.
This guy is awesome. He needs a huge road so he makes one with a pickaxe, shovel and his bare hands.
The sped up part sounds like fapping.
I honestly feel like using my employee discount from working at best buy, and a tool store to get this guy tons of solar panels for cheep. And really if you watch the videos from the first, to his newest he seems very different. Like less socially awkward. Kind of more grown up.
MMmm, ball bearings...
This guy is so insane. This is brilliant.
Mind blown. Seriously how does someone just do that? "Oh, gonna make giant robot, here's the prototype. Damn, I live in the middle of the woods with no real source of power and no place to build it... hmmm guess I'll cut down some trees SAXTON HALE style and make a workshop right now!" Fast forward a few months and he ends up somehow aquireing a hangar-prefab workshop of sorts, then makes HIS OWN ROAD to get there as he lives on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. People like him actually exsist?! This dude is seriously a prodigy, except in this case his art is engineering and not music/painting. Him living in the woods is probably the best thing that ever happened to someone with a brilliant mind like him. Now he's got the (schitzo) patience, know-how and muscle to actually make it by himself. Real life mine-craft indeed. Once he actually makes this he could pretty much get a job anywhere that involves any kind of engineering, and maybe become famous in his own way as the "giant spider guy". A real modern-day Paul Bunyan Something tells me though that he'd rather just make a second giant robot :)
I think he's the kind of person that would not want a job like that though. He seems like a guy that just wants to do this shit because he enjoys the lifestyle and doesn't like society.
Anybody know how he gets the money for his equipment? He must have some source of income besides the adventurer club shirts.
