In the second part of an exclusive interview with Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, former NSA contractor Edward Snowden contemplates the reaction from the US government to his revelations of top-secret documents regarding its spying operations on domestic and foreign internet traffic, email and phone use. This interview was recorded in Hong Kong on 6 June 2013
The nervousity and matter-of-fact way he hold himself in these interviews pretty much underlines his humanity I think, and that he made the right choice. That just depresses me more, though, how everyone is now out for him for genuinely doing the right thing and nobody but a few countries world-wide are ready to protect him.
Sometimes I wonder why there are so few politicians in power with a spine or some humanity.

I'm not sure what to believe, what if the government have put Snowden on a task to do this, afterall, his past and "current" status tends to be secretive.
With an occupation like that, he must know of a better way to expose things without being hunted by the US.
He's makes me feel stupid.. He seems like a nice guy, and pretends to be a hero for digging up shit from some agency.
Well, I am limited on knowledge about agencies, and how all the small things add up with the greater things. But I sure as hell aint buying any crap, never.
What do you say FP.

Addressing the bolded point directly, it seems like you haven't watched both parts of the interview yet. He goes into detail why he didn't keep his identity a secret.

I think I'd be pretty nervous if the US was after me, whether I thought I was doing the right thing or not.

Good heavens, look at the time.
I just watched the second part, and I still stand by what I said. It seems very likely, but also skeptical. I like to see things from a greater perspective, rather than sticking to my own.
No implications intended.
