Hello beloved Facepunchers! I'm finally back, producing some new tunes. You guys may be wondering why I was gone for so long, and the truth is a rather dark one. I'm going to lay it out on you guys, but it might be a bit scary to think about. That something like this could happen to a person. I simply couldn't handle the amount of fame I was getting from Dj Dong. The whole thing gradually turned from something I enjoyed doing, into a thing I felt I had to do. With every release, every new single, I felt my old self slip away. The Dong was gaining control. Producing tunes was the only thing on my mind. I was the creator of a new genre for god's sake! I had a great responsibility to carry on my shoulders. Dongstep. A genre of such sublime beauty. How could a person leave something like that behind? Surely he must nurture and empower it. To make it realize it's full potential. Dongstep became my child. My legacy was destined to flow through it. This was the thing people would remember me for after my death. It would be written in history books, taught in music classes all over the world. Everyone learning the gracious chord progression of Dubstep Funeral, the complex beat of Junglehoo. Eventually my old identity was lost, and only the Dong remained. When people asked me what I did for a living, I said: "I'm Dj Dong, the leading contemporary electronic music producer in Norway. Also the creator of Dongstep. You can't even begin to fathom the amount of listens I have on my music, both on Youtube and Soundcloud." People eventually got tired of me constantly talking about Dongstep, and producing music. So they left me. Even my band mate in Dj Dong left. (Yes, we are two people in Dj Dong, if you didn't know.) The whole weight of the Dong was now on my shoulders, and my shoulders alone. As you can guess: It broke me. I've been in intense therapy for many months now, but I have recovered. My mental fortitude is now a hundred times stronger than what it was before. Dj Dong is also reunited now. The mastodonic pressure from my creation never went away, it still exists. But we can tame it now. That is why we are making a grand comeback. We will be releasing a new single every week (hopefully) and a new album will be released. Prepare yourselves.
I'm shivering with excitement

This is equivalent to the second coming of christ.
I am genuinely happy right now
Vaporwave existed solely to fill the void Dongstep has left.
Now we just need tropsical guy back and the world will be perfect
holy shit Youtube changed their player
It's pretty
This is, er... horrible. This doesn't sound "new and refreshing" it just sounds bad.
I can't believe I said this in the original thread, for the Dong is art that should be cherished
I'm ready for some dongstep
The whole weight of the Dong was now on my shoulders, and my shoulders alone. As you can guess: It broke me.
Ahhh I've been there, friend. Trust me. Long live the Dong!
nobody cared, I'm sorry :poot:
someone's jelly
Why is everyone praising this guy now? In the original thread, everyone laughed at his music and said it was horrible. But now that it's popular you guys are pretending that you "always loved the DongStep"?
Clearly, you're a fucking plebeian that needs to understand art a little better.

Everyone was impressed with his music, out of the gate. Have you ever made a completely new genre of music? Thought so. You're just jealous.
I disagree. And the list goes on... It seems most people jokingly liked it.
Woosh
And now we witness the very first wooosh to ever break the sound barrier.
I say, no matter what happened previously, or whatever things were said, we should just move forwards. Everyone deserves a second chance, except a few people.
I really like you can't handle the sky and happysong.
This music was made for :badage:
nobody cared, I'm sorry :poot:
Be sure you're in the majority before you pull the "no one cares" bit.
