Exact pricing and availability dates will vary by carrier, but we do know that the device's price will be "starting from $199." T-Mobile will be offering the Galaxy S III starting June 21. At that time, the device will be available through T-Mobile's own stores and website as well as select retailers. Sprint will have the Galaxy S III on June 21. A 16GB version will be sold for $199.99 and a 32GB version for $249.99 (both prices require a new two-year service agreement, of course). Online pre-orders will start on June 5. Verizon will start taking online pre-orders for the Galaxy S III on June 6 — at 7 a.m. ET, in case you need the specific time — but hasn't revealed when it will ship the device. We're assuming it'll be around June 21, like the others, but it's hard to say with Verizon. We're still waiting on details from AT&T (and U.S. Cellular, if you care about that). The Galaxy S III is the most anticipated phone of the year, if you judge by the success Samsung has had with its predecessor (and ignore the iPhone's existence). It has a huge 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, an 8MP camera in the back and a 1.9MP camera in the front. The smartphone will be available with either 16 or 32GB of storage (which can be expanded thanks to a microSD slot). Beyond the impressive specs, Samsung gave it new talents so that it can listen, watch and respond in ways not seen before in a phone, which combine for what Samsung calls "natural interaction." That was released May 29th over here, what the hell?
Luckily, my contract ends later this month for Verizon. Goodbye Droid 2.
It's actually coming to Verizon, I'll be damned.
It's actually coming to Verizon, I'll be damned.
And its priced at $200 for 16GB and $250 for 32GB on contract, no bullshit $300.
The design doesn't look that bad honestly but I still believe it could have been better, heck if it remains the S2-Isque look,I'll still buy it.
Already pre-ordered mine :). Loved my S2 so looking forward to it.
It could be smaller for one, this is the biggest mainstream phone yet.
WHOOOOOOOOO just got the s2 a month ago -sent from my already outdated phone
I'd rather have the HTC Evo 4G LTE. I personally don't like Samsung all that much. But that's just me.
And its priced at $200 for 16GB and $250 for 32GB on contract, no bullshit $300.
I'm really confused with American mobile operators, you have to pay an upfront cost + contract? AND you get their bullshit branding all over the phone. Plus the LTE version which is only being sold in the US is a dual core rather than the international quad core.

Nice Yeah, I'm stuck on Verizon for another year or so. When it's over, I'm switching to Cricket or MetroPCS and keeping my iPhone, since A) phones are overpriced (are you trying to tell me an iphone is worth more than an iPad) and B) 90 a month for a single line on contract + upfront fees... that's, like, a lot. Too much, really. I hear it's much cheaper and the quality is just as good if not better in Europe.
At this rate by the time my Samsung Galaxy S contract is up, I'll be getting the Galaxy S V. :v:
I really don't like the blue and white smart phones in general. It's only 49.90€ here in Germany with a Vodafone contract.
FUCK MY CONTRACT DOESN'T END UNTIL NEXT YEAR
Just as I get an S II, this happens. Fuck, now I need to wait 2 years for another free upgrade..
I'm still happy as fuck with my SGSII. I don't really want a quad core. I UNDERCLOCKED my SGSII because it's so damn fast. All I want is a physical keyboard, a kickstand and a notification LED.
All US carriers, you say?
When will ICS come out then?
And some of my friends already have them. Well, time to say Goodbye to the Galaxy S and change to the S III.
I can understand how enjoyable having a latest tech smartphone can be, but as long as your current one works perfectly and no incredibly cool new features that totally makes it useless appears in newest generations... what's the point in changing? My Xperia X10 is still working great.
Still rocking my Galaxy S I. Is it time to upgrade?
Why is it rounderrr I wouldn't buy this from my S II even if I had the money to spend, which I don't have. Once time of my S II will be up I will probably move to LG That's the visage I prefer. I just hate when phone looks like a worn out bar of soap.

If you're after the latest generation I'd recommend the HTC One X or obviously the Samsung SIII
Hahaha, I ordered a Galaxy Ace a few hours ago because my Blackberry (a truly regretful buy) went through the washing machine by mistake, now I learn this is out Oh well, as long as I can call, text, set the alarm, listen to music, take photos/videos and occasionally surf the web on pay as you go, I'm happy :v: I mean, if you can still do what you want on a phone, why consider it outdated?
Aww, now my htc one s will be out of date :c
The HTC One X is so much more visually appealing. Too bad it isn't coming to Verizon.
I still prefer to get the Galaxy SII (or Note, depending of the price) to remplace my old 8-year old mobile phone.
