[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGabsXD9lpY[/hd] NSFW because it'll make you feel tingly. As a Porsche guy... it reminds me a lot of the 911RSR Cup Car, except it's not as heavily turbocharged. Here, check it out: [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EeUqO2hySs[/hd] 6 cylinder fans rejoice :D [editline]29th July 2015[/editline] Re-watching the video again. OMG the downshift... HHNNGGGG
Nah, sounds like actual farts, with a hint of generic v6 thrown in and a pinch of wurbo spewl.
How can we have a 2017 already we aren't even out of 2015, releasing 2016s in 2015 was bad enough. And honestly that's not what a Ford GT should sound like, they ruined the appeal of it when they took away the V8.
wtf is up with you and niche car videos lol
I miss the V8 rumble as much as most of you do, guys... don't get me wrong. [hd]https://youtu.be/qViw_IGGv9w[/hd] ^ That thing is pure aural pornography... but if they want to win LeMans, small engine+forced induction is the way to go nowadays.

The Ford GT was cool because it said fuck you to Euro racing paradigms and stuck to the classic American philosophy no replacement for displacement and it actually worked. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't throw a fit if I won a '17 GT in a raffle, but they should have renamed the car instead of sticking to the GT badge. Alternatively they should take the hippie motor out and give it the eight cylinders it deserves.

Get with the times.
The reality is as a mechanic and enthusiast I find engines designed on paper by a human being to be more interesting than engines designed by a computer crunching numbers. The last generation V8 was pretty computerized but it was still more of an art piece than any modern motor.
Three cylinder petrol engines sound better
My 2009 Toyota Corolla sounds okay when I get on the highway.
